Roughly 2-months in. Not much in terms of patina, but definitely pleasant as ever to use. This blue is quite special, and I'm enjoying its slow turn.

Don't think lotion will help it. Just rub your hands on it often to get it to darken evenly.
4-month-old Saddle Brown case on my 3-year-old Saddleback mousepad
Its called brown for the iphone 6s but yeah its very close to taupeIs this taupe?? Looks very nice!
Try using a pencil eraser. You can often erase all kinds of stains off of leather with an eraser. Might take a little elbow grease to get it all off, though.I have a Saddle Brown case for my iPhone X, and it has a nice patina, but I sometimes put it in the back pocket of my jeans. So now there are denim stains on the case. Any ideas on how to get them out?![]()
so go back to page 1 showing my first photos of when i got the case the weekend the iPhone X came out (https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/apple-leather-cases-patina-proud-photos.2091430/#post-25523454). about 7 months later of everyday use - it's almost black. hard to tell it's even dark brown.
I may buy another saddle brown case to start the process over again - or another color.

We have a winner! Yeah. I like the saddle brown a lot, but I wanted to try something a little different. So I miffed with a taupe case until I got the color I wanted. Time in the sun helped too. I let it bake for a few hours in direct light on bricksWhat color was the case originally?
