Leather Cases - Patina Proud Photos

so go back to page 1 showing my first photos of when i got the case the weekend the iPhone X came out (https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/apple-leather-cases-patina-proud-photos.2091430/#post-25523454). about 7 months later of everyday use - it's almost black. hard to tell it's even dark brown.
I may buy another saddle brown case to start the process over again - or another color.

Try using a pencil eraser. You can often erase all kinds of stains off of leather with an eraser. Might take a little elbow grease to get it all off, though.I have a Saddle Brown case for my iPhone X, and it has a nice patina, but I sometimes put it in the back pocket of my jeans. So now there are denim stains on the case. Any ideas on how to get them out?

Picked up a soft pink leather case today. Will keep posted how it wears. I don’t even like pink but this color is pretty.

I loved my red one on my 5s but the saddle brown has the best “long term” beauty in it. It gets better w age.

Magic Eraser, coconut oil, olive oil, and just for shiz and giggles- Johnston & Murphy shoe polish. I buffed it a lot after each application.

Taupe?
We have a winner! Yeah. I like the saddle brown a lot, but I wanted to try something a little different. So I miffed with a taupe case until I got the color I wanted. Time in the sun helped too. I let it bake for a few hours in direct light on bricks

I’ve messed with my saddle brown quite a lot haha jus trying to get the look I want.
Thanks! Now I just have the tough choice of which case to use, hah!
