Hi, could you please give as an update how your Grams28 case is holding up?
I am VERY tempted at purchasing an olive colored one.... a was allready sure when i saw your pictures..... but than i read the comment under the youtube review, where people that got one are stating that the corners are peeling or “melting” off allready after a week of use.
Are you expiriencing annything simmilar?

Could you please post a short review? Especially regarding the wear and tear?
I am asking becouse reviews online are very scarce...
But some are stating that the corners are peeling off very soon.
Are you expiriencing anything simmilar?

The leather case second from the right is how midnight blue aged over the course of just over a year. The one to the left of that was just about four months.

This is unrelated to patina and leather but which case is that fabric one?

What I’ve found from the Etsy leather cases which I have bought in the past is that the quality can be hit and miss. Also the case could have some imperfections. I would say if we are paying $50 for a leather case I would go with a tried and true option like Apple case, Nomad or Bullstrap.
 
I just couldn’t get on board with my Apple case this year. It didn’t fit properly and was aging poorly. I returned it and stalk this forum hoping they get it fixed.

I have always returned those or got to keep for free, fault IMO, not paying $89AUD for that, yes i know about leather being different, but plenty don't have it so i don't want it.
 
so after reading through numerous pages of this thread, I have decided to return my silicone case for a leather one..
From what I saw, the black won't change much with age so I am considering the Saddle Brown or the Red one for my graphite iPhone..
I couldn't find many photos of the red leather case patina, anyone got some? I would like to see how it ages before I make a decision
 
I know this has been discussed in here before, surely, but this is a beeg thread to search through. What’s the consensus on the best treatment/oil/etc for giving these cases a patina on the front end? I wasn’t happy with how my Mini case aged, so I want to go ahead and give my Pro Max case a conditioning on the front end. I also don’t want to destroy it with sandpaper in the front end.
 
Dropped my phone with the Grams28 case for the first time while out in Yosemite, and damn this thing can take a beating. Looking forward to seeing how the scuffs age. Aside from that I’ve had the case on for a week now and I’m really loving how snug it fits and quality of the buttons, I find them better than apple’s leather case

No peeling whatsoever, it’s holding up nicely actually. My last post shows the corners and it’s scuffed but because I dropped it. I recommend the case
