Yes, I received them. I’ll put one on the phone today and see how I like it and how it fits and feels. I haven’t used them since I got them because I’ve been using other cases.
Too soon to tell on the patina since it’s a dark blue dyed leather, but it feels premium and still has that fresh leather scent which I appreciate. Definitely not treated the same as apple’s. The numbers appear printed with a very slight press and I believe will fade over timeSuperb!
What would you say about the leather; is it actually better than apple’s? Is the patina setting in allready or is it treated with a ton of chemicals like apple’s case?
Also about the numbers on the back.....are they only printed (and do you think they will fade with time) or are they pressed in?

Thanks for the review. I received a belated Apple gift card so I may take my chances again on an Apple saddle brown and sand it down a bit. I’m still currently using the rustic brown Nomad and it’s been holding up well. The buttons haven’t softened up a bit which sucks. Still a nice case though.
I just went out and tried it on this "MagSafe compatible" holder/charger. Since the arms in this holder retract and grab onto the phone it is no different compared to the apple leather case.
Honestly, I’m not too fond of these cases. One fits tighter than the other, which is not surprising. I think they both are better at holding onto the phone than Apples’s leather cases on the corners.
That would be the tits. Or if Nomad would go back to their old style fully wrapped cases.
I nearly got the nomad magsafe, already have the normal black, but have ordered a apple black leather and the belkin 3 x 1 magsafe charger.
Thanks, I will be going with the Brodit/Clicon holder with apple magsafe charger if i do, can't stand vent holders.
Doesnt look so bad to me. Reminds me of well used leather boots. Can see why people would prefer the patina of the more recent cases though. I wonder if the square edges are a factor in the leather choice?
But the way it aged is the same that 12s cases that most people think have a poor quality leather causing this.
Yeah, agreed. I do think the leather is different too, it’s not just the square edges. based on what I’ve been reading, it’s probably aniline leather on the recent cases before the 12, and semi-aniline on the 5S and 12 cases, which gives better durability, dirt and water resistance, but less of a natural look and feel. Still a high quality natural product and seems like it still gets a patina eventually.
