Here’s my nomad rugged brown after a year of daily use. Leather still feels amazing. I’ve used the conditioner they sell on their site once or twice and it definitely feels more slick than before but still very nice. It repels water nicely too. It even gave it a beautiful sheen. There’s not any dark patches or black spots. The leather quality it amazing.

My £15 Torro case arrived. Smells of really good leather and the tan is a nice colour. Feels very nice in the hand. The branding on the back isn’t particularly noticeable to me and probably stands out more when looking at the retail pictures.

Slightly strange design from the camera cutout to the top right of the case where the bumper doesn’t extend all the way. Other than that, my only complaint is that the bumper is just a mm or two wider than necessary. It shows slivers of the frame of the phone, as if they designed this around a mock-up of the phone. I imagine they’re working on an altered version to provide a better fit. There’s still a slight lip around the front even with a Spigen glass screen protector installed.

First impressions are that it’s a good purchase at half price. Had I paid the full £30 the slight imperfections would be very disappointing but I can’t complain much at this price.

I’ve had their sleeve for almost 2 months now. Although, I don’t use it in a daily basis, it still smells of leather. For the few weeks that I did use it, it started to darken nicely.

I was liking the look of the black leather with red stitching. There’s something about red and black that goes so well!

AFTER TWO MONTHS - IPHONE 7 APPLE LEATHER CASE SADDLE BROWN (27/12/2020 - 27/02/2021)

How to Patina/ Treatments:
-Obenauf's heavy duty LP every 5 days
-Cololite mink oil (once in a week)
-Coconut virgin oil (once in a week)
-Morning Sunbath (15 minutes every week)
-Mixture of Obenauf's & Coconut Oil & 5 drops of Betadine (15 Minutes: 3 days ago: 25/02/2021)
My old iPhone cases looked like this without doing any extra work after 4-5 months. Your case will just get much darker now after a short while!

Yeah, i am pretty disappointed with Baltic Blue case for 12 PM. Just after 2 days of gaming and maybe damped palms (intense tennis game!), the coating on the sides worn down to black. NEVER used alcohol or any wipes on it. I don’t use moisturizers nor do i use alcohol solution during this time…i was at home. Nothing. Just holding the case and maybe a little sweating palms…that’s it.

I also have a black leather Apple case and am using that now. No more colored leather Apple cases.

I’ve been disappointed with the Baltic Blue case for my 12PM - Upon receipt it had a strong chemical smell and the fit doesn’t seem quite right as the corner of my phone occasionally pops out. The leather also seems quite thin, although I’m relatively new to the world of leather cases so perhaps this is normal. On a positive note, the buttons are fantastic.

I caved and purchased the Nomad Rugged (MagSafe) - Really impressed with it! The leather smells and feels great, the phone fits snuggly inside and the case is comfortable to hold. The only issue I have with it are the buttons which are really firm and “mushy” when pressed...I’m hoping they will loosen up over time. Anyone have experience with Nomad cases?

Anyone have any input on how the grip level is with the nomad cases after some use?
It has good grip anyway but does smooth out after awhile, mine is 6 weeks old and has a bit, Mrs has a 18 month old XR folio and it's way smoother than mine, talking about the rubber here not leather, it's not sticky grip on the sides like the apple black leather. But not slippery either.

Was going to get another one with magsafe but will just use the apple leather for work as need strong magsafe for car holder.
Nomad for after and weekends.

Great case but Sorry to say they don't, some of us on here have slit behind them with a razor blade which works, photos on how to in the main case thread somewhere.

What colour did you get?

Such a shame! I’ll read through the thread to try and find the razor blade trick - Thanks for letting me know! Apart from the buttons, I really like the case.

I went for the rustic brown (Pacific Blue PM)

There's a photo above of where to do it.

Sweet, the brown really ages well, the black i have, and have had 2 just gets scratches/marks but colour doesn't change much.

Do you cut all the way thru the rubber?

edit: I cut where the yellow lines thru the rubber and it does feel better. Thanks for the hint.
