Leather Cases - Patina Proud Photos

So Bullstrap sent me an email that they are now offering “FREE 2-day ‘Amazon-fast’ shipping” and stated that it is “here to stay”.... and it’s nothing more than USPS first class, as shown at check out, which they previously charged $4.90 for. The catch? They raised their case prices $5/each.

The same order that I paid $69.85 for after shipping last week would cost me $69.95 today with this new free shipping plan. And wouldn’t get to me any faster.

Absolutely shady company that makes wonderful products.

There are somethings about this company that never sits well with me. The way they botched up my order, unapologetic customer service, tricky price changes..

Yeah, same. I’ve had a botched order, and poor customer service responses as well. I’m very happy with the case (now that I finally got the right thing), but can’t really recommend anyone order from them.

Bullstrap screwed up my order, ended up sending me a free case that I tried to pay for (they refunded). Customer Service was beyond nice and helpful. I've noticed this happening to a lot of companies since last year.

I’ve got two Bullstrap products and while the leather is nice, I’m not using either of them. Th 12 Mini case is in a drawer because the wife took over and prefers the Apple silicone and the wallet was immediately dropped when I got my MagSafe wallet.

I’d recommend them to someone looking for a nice leather case but I certainly won’t be buying another one considering how happy I am with my black Apple leather. We’ll see how the clear case fares this afternoon; hopefully it’ll end up in a rotation.

Hi everyone!

Been using Apple Leather Case product Red for almost 4 months. What do you guys think? Is it Patina or Dirt?

I’ve used apple leather case in the past, black leather case for iphone 7, midnight blue for X which I continue using for my XS, turned out full black. Then before 12 comes out, I tried SB for my 11 pro which Patina beautifully.

Its the red coating rubbing off and the "leather" underneath immediately soaking up oil and dirt turning it dark. I rubbed the coating off my saddle brown case and within a couple weeks it was dark brown almost black. Apples cases are lousy this year. A real shame when you consider what we are spending on these things.

Got my Black leather 12 pro max case, magnets are much stronger than the OB symmetry, going to try and return that big sucker.

Decided to upgrade to the 12PM. I had the 11PM and was going to keep it but I couldn’t resist. I love the square phones, like the 5s days.

Side note my co-worker got his 12PM in Dec2020 and his saddle brown case was really waxy/grippy/sticky right out of the box. Kind of like the mujjo I had. Mine however, out of the box didn’t have that sticky/waxy feeling at all. Feels similar to the 11PM saddle brown cases I had but not as slick. Hard to explain. I finally got one with some stripes. Love it so far!

I just received one of their cases today. It fits fine at the top, but the bottom is nothing but mushy feeling and it won't even keep itself on the bottom of the phone unless I hold it there. This case makes the Apple leather cases feel like they fit securely.
I was told at first by their rep that I needed to watch a video on how to properly put the case on the phone because their cases are of high quality and have a very precision fit. I told her again how the case is defective and does not even stay on the phone without help. She said she will forward this to their tech support team and I should hear from them in a couple of days. We will see what happens.
I think I may just get Apple's black leather case and deal with the poor fit and finish and call it done if I can get myself to actually buy another one of them. They definitely fit better than this case does. That, or maybe I'll just stick with the Pitaka Air case that I've been using since I got the phone. That case clicks into place on all four corners and isn't coming off without some pressure to pull it off the edges.

Can you post pics. i can imagine how frustrating this is. I have 2 bullstraps from the 12pm and they fit so tight And precise.

I’ll take some later and post them for you. I have two for my 12 pm that fit like yours do. This case is for my 12 pro. Another thing I forgot to mention is that there is no raised area around the camera lenses. I don’t know if they only do that for the 12 pm and not the 12 pro, or if that is another defect with this particular case.
 
Same for the one for my Mini. I hope they’re willing to work with you to have it replaced. There’s always going to be defects, but I think you’ll be happy when you get one that actually fits. Same with the Apple leather case; I love the one on my 12 Pro.

Definitely exclusive to the PM. The camera module is significantly larger and the lens frames (stovetop) are slightly taller.
