Leather Cases - Patina Proud Photos

Bullstrap sent me an email and shipping # at 7am this morning. Didn’t say that they wanted the defective case back. I was surprised they took care of it so quickly. Hopefully the replacement they send is going to fit perfectly like the two I have for the Max.
Thanks for the info on the Pro vs. Max case and the camera area.
Maybe I’ll try an Apple black leather case for my Pro. The ones I have for my Max are ok, but there always seems to be one of the bottom corners that just doesn’t fit very snug.

Decided to get the California poppy wallet to pair with my Grams28 case and I think it’s a realllly cool combo

Black leather case with black MagSafe Wallet on my silver iPhone 12PM. I started with the California poppy case and preferred the vibrant color. However, it picked up dirt so quickly that I returned it for the black one. So far I’m really liking the silver accents of the phone combined with the black case. What strikes me is that black color of the leather is already coming off where the wallet attaches. This is only one week in using the MagSafe wallet. Are you guys seeing similar behavior with your phones and wallets attached..?

I’ve using an Apple black leather case daily for 2 months. Starting to see the coating wear off on the corners and some of the edges, similar to the other colours

Another proof that this year the quality of leather cases is really low and we aren’t talking about real leather patina. I don’t know what you all think, but if I spent 65€ for this I probably will very disappointed with Apple.

As far as patina for the apple leather case it is a huge let down this year, but the fit and feel is second to none. That is the only reason I find myself going back to the apple leather case.

Anybody have the new MagSafe Nomad case and using the Apple MagSafe wallet with it? Wandering how well it holds. My Apple MagSafe wallet paired with the apple leather case seems to hold very well.
 
Sigh... looking at the black leather case on the 11 Pro Max next to the 12 Pro Max really makes me miss that old chubby leather case. And boy is that plastic ring around the camera an eye sore! The iPhone 12s can’t come soon enough with that single piece of glass covering the entire camera module! Sign me up!

Honestly, the squared off edges look way more industrial and appealing, IMO. the black leather case has always been a clean looking booger.

I love the square edges a ton and prefer the look over the rounded sides of the older phones. I just love how much richer the older leather looks and feels. Almost like it looks closer to handmade than machine made.

Well.. QC is a def issue this go around, one can assume due to Covid... I had the saddle brown originally and the patina on that case was trash. One of the reasons I went back to ole faithful black. It still shows wear and tear but hopefully isn’t as “painted on” as the saddle brown was. My favorite case of all was the saddle brown I had for my XS. That thing was GORGEOUS after a year.

Also, I’m not seeing the color loss, at all.
