Leather Cases - Patina Proud Photos

Had the Apple leather saddle brown on my blue 12 mini since early December. I definitely scuffed up the one side and tried to rub it down to smooth it out, so that’s why it is much more worn than the other sides. The pictures make it seem lighter in color than reality, but you can see the picture on the box for reference.

They said that a replacement has been shipped. Although no tracking number has been provided. I’ll see how it fits whenever it gets here.
Been using the leather on my 12 pro on and off since November . I wish it would patina quicker like my past saddle brown cases.. love the feel of apple cases though.
I had the exact same issue, they offered a replacement but I just asked for a refund.
Damn, so it isn’t just a very rare thing to get one that fits that way. I asked them if they were going to send me a label to return the case and haven’t heard back from them.

I dont know personally for me i swotched from the nomad to the apple leather because it changes the feel of the iphone. Becomes more roundish. Kind of disappointed given they said they wouldnt magsafe update their cases then release it with 50% off to original backers. I get that its business but given how people already paid $60 then another $40 after taxes and shipping equals a $100 case. Given that they are able to send reviewers cases so why not back long standing customers.
the edges are super sharp for the 12 series as well and buttons are very lackluster. Hence why i went to apples this year despite the leather issues
Exactly. The most annoying part for me was the sharp edges, made holding it uncomfortable.
My experience thus far I always swapped out of nomad cases. Love the protection aspect but despite what a lot of people say, the leather is ok. Had one for my x peel up, the one for my mini was sharp and the fit wasnt exact. Then the $40 upgrade rubbed me the wrong way tbh. But to each their own.

I am surprised at how long it has lasted, it seems to be aging very slowly, just getting slightly darker. Of course I have put some marks and chips on it on the corners but it still looks great, glad I got it.
How is the fit on the 12PM? Does it loose easily like the apple leather case? Does the bottom corners lip easily loose when you press? Or does it hold firm like the Grams28 case?
This looks like a pretty fair representation of how the current leather cases are aging. It's certainly got its own unique charm but I'll never use a light colored leather case as I prefer it to eventually darken to black.

The forest green case and leather loop watch band were definitely a bluish green in real life.
