Well my hope has now turned to the fact that maybe the iPhone 13 cases will fit the 12 and they’ll get their issues worked out.

So I got a bullstrap sienna MagSafe case and tried cleaning it with Lexol cleaner and lexol conditioner but this happened - it looks like it was too rough and ripped up some of the leather. No idea it just feels very rough is there anyway to fix this? Just got the case today.

You may be able to squeeze it in but from what I've seen the camera modules on the new phones are going to be considerably bigger so you'll have to be okay with a massive gap around that (if it even fits). The mute switch and volume buttons are also moving down so that will probably kill that idea.

Looks nerfed to me. It'll probably just darken a little quicker than the rest but if you're patient it'll probably end up looking uniform once the patina has had time to set in.

Why on earth would you clean a brand new case?

There was actually a black spot when I first got the case. I was hoping it could be cleaned off. It was a giant black circle.

Damn, that's unfortunate. Hate to be the shoulda/woulda/coulda type but Bullstrap has stepped up their customer service as of late so they probably would have just sent you a new one. Did you take pictures of the spot?

I did. I’m just waiting on a reply from them. Hopefully they send another. Here’s the original case after I opened it.

Nice. A buddy of mine dropped his and ripped the corner and they ended up sending him a replacement and didn't even ask for the damaged one back. If I didn't already have a leather case I love I'd be all over a Bullstrap.

HAVE THEY LOST THEIR MIND! $99.00 for a leather caseView attachment 1805312
Prices are absolutely insane from Bullstrap…always. They either overvalue their own product by a mile OR they’re just too small/too young of a company to charge less. Having seen their operation in person, I’m voting for the latter.
I continue to support them because I love to support smaller businesses, especially in such a competitive sector. Their customer service is also top notch (they did have a few bumps along the way, and I’ve experienced both good and downright awful from them). Most importantly, I haven’t come across leather - for a phone case - that smells as good (and ages as good) as Bullstrap.
Rereading my post it does sound like I’m a company shill, but no, I really just love their product, logo, and - as of now - customer service ;)
I did try Grams28, and while I swear by their iPad folios, I can’t stand how quick and poorly their phone cases wear.

It did drop down to $79 ($75 for the non mag safe versions)
I did exchange my "classic" for the MagSafe version.

Just a well made leather case, I love the Bourbon, looks darn good.
The magnet on the back could be stronger though. My only nit-pick about it.

In my experience, I think their customer service is A++ also.

Nodus case after a few months. This case is great, leather quality and patina is amazing and even has a magnet in the case (not mag safe) so you can mount it to your car or something. When new the case was about the same color as saddle brown, now it’s like a dark coffee color

That looks really good reminds a bit of decoded leather case
I used to own a decoded on my previous phone. I can tell you this leather is far better. Even better than nomad or bull strap. It’s smooth, supple and in person the color is beautiful. It has a nice patina sheen to it
