I recently damaged my decoded leather case so I decided to order another one.

I am very please that not only is it a great case already, but they improved it even for further. Starting with the camera cutout they managed to get rid of the bump (12 Pro Max model) and at least on this one it looks like the leather is from a far better hide, could just be variation and I just happened to get lucky with the quality of leather. I will do an update in 2 weeks with the aging process.

None the less I still highly recommend this great case. I promise you will NOT be disappointed.

Beautifully minimal! I like!

This looks beautiful. Did you order this from Bullstrap direct? What is the price difference between this and Apple's?
Yes,i just order mine direct from bullstrap website..it quite expensive than apple leather case but it totally worth it..this is my first time using this brand..awesome leather case..i wont expect bullstrap have a better quality leather rather than apple leather case..

I have an iPhone 12 mini and got a Bullstrap classic leather case for it back in January. It took a drop in March or April and I found out that Bullstrap would replace it for cosmetic damage. The replacement arrived yesterday, and I'm absolutely shocked at how much of a patina had developed. These are both the Sienna color option. The one on the left is the replacement case, the one on the right is the old one. This is just from regular daily use since mid-January.

Just got my Elite case from Bullstrap today, and I'm honestly pretty disappointed by it. I would've thought for $120, and waiting an extra 6 months, it would fit way better. The leather feels amazing, but the case has zero give for putting the phone in. If you're not extremely careful, you can easily bend the frame, just by putting the phone in it, just purely because the fitment is so tight. Both of my cases had missing buttons, luckily they were in the box, just not adhesived into place. Both had aluminum frames that aren't properly fitted. Plus it's actually somehow even bulkier than my Nomad. It's easily as big as an old school OtterBox. I still haven't decided if I'm keeping them, or sending them back. For now, I'd save your money and just get one of their regular cases. If you want more protection, go Nomad. Here's some pictures of mine, plus some with my regular bourbon case and Nomad(daily driver).

Thanks for the heads up. Looks like mine is currently at the destination sort facility and should be delivered tomorrow. Probably a good thing to see this post and lower my expectations a little bit.

I only bought it because I am a part of their 'BS Society' and had a bunch of rewards points so with the early preorder and points I only paid $10 out of pocket for it.

I just wanted to post and say that after a few months with the Nomad rugged leather case, I’m absolutely blow anyway by it. It’s hands down the best leather case I have ever used, and by a huge margin. After a fair amount of drops, spending time rubbing up with keys, heavy use and general abuse, it looks incredible. These cases are in a totally different league to the few Apple cases I have had over the years. This is like a proper leather and not like a painted leather (even if it technically isn’t) Apple case that look like utter garbage after moderate use. Very happy and a lovely patina.

My phone took a pretty nasty spill yesterday. I was sitting outside with our new pup and looked up to see that she had torn a huge clump of grass up and was in the process of eating it and all the dirt that had come with it. I jumped up and the phone was in my lap so it met the concrete in a couple of places. Despite some folks' claims that these cases are just plastic with a thin sheet of leather over top, I'm not able to see any plastic in even the deepest gouge.

Surprisingly, the scuffs have already started to minimize so I'm looking forward to how it'll look in a week's time. I've tried several other leather cases (Parkfield Supplies, Decoded, Nomad) as well as the Caudabe Sheath and this is hands down my favorite of the bunch.
