After 2 weeks with bullstrap..it patina very nice..no more apple sadle brown after this..
I recently damaged my decoded leather case so I decided to order another one.
I am very please that not only is it a great case already, but they improved it even for further. Starting with the camera cutout they managed to get rid of the bump (12 Pro Max model) and at least on this one it looks like the leather is from a far better hide, could just be variation and I just happened to get lucky with the quality of leather. I will do an update in 2 weeks with the aging process.
None the less I still highly recommend this great case. I promise you will NOT be disappointed.

Thanks for the heads up. Looks like mine is currently at the destination sort facility and should be delivered tomorrow. Probably a good thing to see this post and lower my expectations a little bit.Just got my Elite case from Bullstrap today, and I'm honestly pretty disappointed by it. I would've thought for $120, and waiting an extra 6 months, it would fit way better. The leather feels amazing, but the case has zero give for putting the phone in. If you're not extremely careful, you can easily bend the frame, just by putting the phone in it, just purely because the fitment is so tight. Both of my cases had missing buttons, luckily they were in the box, just not adhesived into place. Both had aluminum frames that aren't properly fitted. Plus it's actually somehow even bulkier than my Nomad. It's easily as big as an old school OtterBox. I still haven't decided if I'm keeping them, or sending them back. For now, I'd save your money and just get one of their regular cases. If you want more protection, go Nomad. Here's some pictures of mine, plus some with my regular bourbon case and Nomad(daily driver).
Thanks for posting this. It looks like it could be what I'm looking for, I think I'm gonna give it a try when the tan one comes back in stock.View attachment 1816220Has anyone purchased this leather case. Never seen it before and completely unbranded and metal buttons and MagSafe compatible. Only drawback is open bottom seems like a great deal though.
iPhone 12 pro max ?I just wanted to post and say that after a few months with the Nomad rugged leather case, I’m absolutely blow anyway by it. It’s hands down the best leather case I have ever used, and by a huge margin. After a fair amount of drops, spending time rubbing up with keys, heavy use and general abuse, it looks incredible. These cases are in a totally different league to the few Apple cases I have had over the years. This is like a proper leather and not like a painted leather (even if it technically isn’t) Apple case that look like utter garbage after moderate use. Very happy and a lovely patina.
