iPhone X Saddle brown. Had it since launch day and I’ve used it intermittently. Maybe 60-70% of the time.

Saved the phone from shattering twice. You can see the dents and cuts in the four corners.

Now to get another one for the iPhone XS+ and start this process all over again!

Yeah. Indoor lighting it looks like a orange-ish red. Outdoors, it looks like a traffic cone. I had a car this color once LOL
[doublepost=1522876083][/doublepost]I would really love a forest green leather. Not so dark that it looks black (like they did with aubergine/purple). But a solid green like this.View attachment 756986 Next season, hopefully!
Holy crap! I called it!

I'm thinking about getting the black leather case for the Xs Max. Does anyone have any photos of an aged black leather case?

I've used red and grey 6s Plus leather cases, and the red one just got dirty, no patina. My grey case still looks like when I bought it, only the sides are smoother now.

I want a case for the Xs Max that won't just seem 'dirty', hence I'm leaning towards black.

Your best bet for colours that don't seem dirty are definitely the dark colours. Midnight blue will patina and approach the colour black as it ages, while black just stays black.

I really like the Cape Cod blue (leather) version.
My fear is how it will age: will it look as dirty as some Cosmo Blue?
Is there any trick to prevent this inconvenience?

Hubby has a black one on his X and it's just black. My pink, on the other hand is GROSS!
I always liked the darker colors. Love the cape cod blue but that will probably get pretty grody. It's a bummer that they don't have the gray anymore.

Was going to go naked and get AC+ this year for the Gold XS Max but was just casually perusing accessories and saw the Forest Green!! Easily my favorite color ever and so happy they finally are releasing that color.

Ecstatic

Is the new leather case from Apple any different from the previous? I just bought one for the upcoming XS. Will need to return it if its not compatible.

Hi guys, I just preordered my first iPhone and was looking forward to buying a leather case too. I looked through the whole thread and they look amazing. I just have a simple question. I choose the silver color and saw that last year silver iPhones can really scratch a lot on that stainless steel band. Do any of you have had the leather case with a silver iPhone and managed to not scratch that band too badly? I'm usually really careful with expensive things, but I'm not sure if I should go for the leather case or a case that is closed completely.
Sorry for my bad english and thanks for your answers :)

I have silver iPhone and 2 leather cases which I change regularly, silver band show very tiny little scratch where phone is exposed on bottom but nothing major.
Also on silver it is very easy to use polish stainless steel band.

But nearly 1 year and phone still looks brand new, not an issue.
Tip: when putting in jeans pocket put upside down will help you less scratch if you are worried that much!
