I’m on the fence with the forest green.

I’ve had saddle brown for the last few years and love how it ages. But I was getting bored.

Forest green is slightly a bit too dark and it would just turn black in a few months time...

Loving the forest green so far and I’m okay with it turning black eventually. After having the Electric Blue and Taupe develops a horrible and uneven patina, I’ll pass on the lighter colors for now.

I’m keeping my forest geeen for my gold xs max! I went outside and it looks much better in daylight and you can see the green colour a lot better.

The green and gold matches very well. I saw another guy with it sitting outside the apple store and I could immediately tell it was the new forest green case.

I’m Aussie too and green and gold are our national colours hahaha

Hi folks, for anyone else wondering: I can confirm that the new iPhone XS leather cases by Apple do fit on the iPhone X. I have attached a photo of my saddle brown case (for the X) and my forest green (for the XS) both on my X. The only part that looks different is around the camera cut-out, hopefully the pictures show it well.

Can someone confirm the X case on the XS phone please?

That looks great! I may go this route to accelerate the look. I had to wait 6-7 months to get the darker patina on the saddle brown on my X, and then I upgraded to Max, so starting all over again.

Just picked up a saddle brown at the apple store although I have a forest green ... ugh decisions.

I just picked up the Apple Saddle Brown leather case at Best Buy as it was on sale for $45 and I had a $10 gift certificate that I had to use up. I cancelled my Forest Green leather case order as I know in 2 months, it will turn black, which I already have. It’s well known here, nothing ages as well as the Saddle Brown. I replaced my Electric Blue case, which after 4 months, looked terrible.

anyone know the best way to quickly get rid of the waxy coating on the outside of the new saddle brown? I've seen people use fine sandpaper lightly all over.

does it help making it tackier for grip?

I’d advise against putting anything on it. You could ruin it. It’ll age nicely with the natural oils off your skin.

I just got a barely used Midnight Blue for my X. Looks as good as new. I am loving how my Saddle Brown has aged since I got it in May but I’ve been wanting the Midnight Blue or Cosmos Blue for a while now.
