Just received the navy Andar Aspen case for my 13 Pro. Unfortunately it didn’t take long to decide that I’ll be sending it back and keeping my midnight Apple leather case instead. The Andar case is nice, but out of the box it’s surprisingly slippery. I know it’ll become more grippy over time (I had the same Apple leather case in my iPhone X for 4+ years) but it had much less grip than the Apple case right out of the box. The navy color is nice but more subtle than I expected - it’s definitely more blue than the midnight case, but not nearly as blue as it looks on the Andar website. The fit is good, and offers a bit more lip for screen protection, but it shows less of the stainless steel frame. My least favorite feature is the buttons, which protrude from the sides fairly prominently - I much prefer the partially recessed buttons on the Apple case.
Overall I think it’s a very nice case, but it didn‘t “wow” me like I thought it would. And I definitely didn’t expect to like the Apple case better (the closed bottom is a plus for Apple, but not a deciding factor).
As an aside, given the difficulty I had removing the Apple case to put on the Andar, I’m really puzzled by the thread about the Apple case popping off at the corners. Either there are some defective cases out there or some people simply aren’t pushing their phone all the way into the case, IMHO.
