Any tips anyone?
Just let it naturally age. It will turn black eventually. If you really want to speed up the process, just rub your hands often and let it stay on direct sun light.
This worked for me.
Any tips anyone?
Saddle Brown XS Max after 3 weeks of use. This includes a week at Oktoberfest in Germany with frequent leather-on-leather friction from sliding in and out of the pocket of my leather lederhosen as well as fingers sometimes covered in sausage grease and/or beer. The only thing I did to it was a couple second scrub with a magic eraser to help remove that slippery coating Apple applies to it. It looks slightly darker in these photos than it does in person.

For some reason I have a issue with the way the saddle brown looks on the front on the maxGonna sound weird, but could someone show me a pic of the saddle brown screen from the front with the device on? I love how the saddle brown ages, but I’ve always used black leather cases. I’m worried about whether I would like the contrast on the front from brown case to black bezel to screen.

For some reason I have a issue with the way the saddle brown looks on the front on the max. I had it on my x for forever and didn’t mind. Maybe it’s the larger screen or phone for me but my ocd is much less bothered by the black leather case with the gold.
How is it he forest green holding up patina wise ?Had to go with the combo

It’s only been out a few weeks. How is it he forest green holding up patina wise ?
At first I really wasn’t feeling the saddle brown. I have used peel or totallee cases for my last few phones. To me it just felt slippery but I tried the magic eraser and wow. It’s a really nice texture now.
Thanks for the tip.
Midnight blue at 11 months with a few different lighting angles. It's mostly black these days but the edges (and the scuffs) have that hint of blue. I'd like something a little lighter but we all know how the lighter colors age, saddle brown aside.

Agreed, but I still love it. By far my favorite case I’ve owned for any iPhone. It's a shame that it darkens over time. I really enjoy the color. I got one a month ago for my X.
I've not followed this thread from the start - this started out as saddle brown?Mine about 3 weeks in..I couldn't wait..Lol I used a sandpaper sponge, olive oil and baseball mitt oil. I might do the process again just to make it look even older

I don’t want to be too drastic (I ruined a black leather case a couple of years ago by putting too much polish on it) but what do you recommend to use to rub the Saddle brown case with? A micro fibre cloth?

Saddle Brown. I think it looks fantastic at this stage.
My midnight blue aged the same, where the spots my fingers rest were much darker than the rest and it eventually evened out. Just stop thinking about it and use it normally. My saddle brown after couple of months. Aged pretty well, but on the top of the case its lighter a I dont know how to achieve the darker look like the rest of the case have. Any tips? Thanks.

So is the saddle brown for iPhone XS not on amazon simply because of this thread. I'm trying to find it on amazon and it doesn't seem to exist? Anyone else see it?
