This was the other color I was considering! It was such a hard choice bullstrap makes the best colors!! Look gorgeous!!Bullstrap's aptly named "ocean" blue is mesmerizing when the sun hits it. ? Like shimmering water.
No alcohol on it right? Still seems to wear weirdly. At least it’s black and still looks good.
I jumped over to bullstrap and I think their cases make Apple case quality look cheap. I still love Apple cases don’t get me wrong! But the bullstrap- definitely worth a look (and the price!)
I don't doubt the Bullstrap leather quality but their pricing is outrageous. My saddle brown leather case was $29 (on sale) I could buy five of them for the same as one Bullstrap (with shipping) They need to get their prices down, or start selling in stores.
They’re pricey but get coupon codes online all the time.. granted it wouldn’t bring it to $29 but still.
Depending where you got your case from I’d worry about it authenticity.
It’s from the cell provider. It’s the real deal Apple authentic. They were clearing all their iPhone 12 mini accessories out on a pre Christmas sale.
Has anyone from Canada (Ontario, specifically) ordered from Bullstrap or Andar before? If so, what's their shipping time like? And did you have to pay any duties/customs?

Bullstrap is sending me a new case, should be in sometime this week. I'm hoping that I just got a dud and the new one is good.
Nice - what was your reason for asking for a new case? Did they require you to send any supporting documentation or anything, or did you just request and they gave it to you?
I just sent them an email letting them know about the issue I was having with the magnets and that I was a bit bummed about it not working so well with my car mount. I didn’t demand a new one or anything like that, just sent it mostly to let them know my thought on the matter.
They got back to me a week or so later and offered a replacement. I took them up on it and that’s it.
I saw this too. Bullstrap has gorgeous cases. Decided to get airpod pro cases to match my new case from them!
It’s probably the best quality cases out there right now. I recently tried out the Andar Aspen because of the cheaper price tag, but to me the quality wasn’t really there. It did not feel as snug. I was not a fan of the metal camera ring vs the fully leather wrapped on Bull Strap, but with that aside I think what I hated most was the fact that I could see the imprint of the MagSafe ring without even using MagSafe. I don’t use MagSafe chargers nor do I buy cases for that functionality. By no means is it perfect because the bottom is still exposed, but it’s the closest I’ll ever get to the saddle brown apple leather case from back in the day.
They have non- MagSafe versions of bullstrap. I don’t see the magnet ring on mine at all but then again I got the bourbon color.
The open bottom doesn’t bother me anymore. I used to only want a closed bottom especially after starting with the Apple cases but Carved live edge broke me of that requirement. Now my phone is over a year old and I’ve had both open and closed bottom cases and my phone is still perfect. You’re right about the quality of leather. Apples is a joke compared to this (not fully knocking it.. I still have one with the MagSafe wallet). But I absolutely love this bullstrap and it’ll be in my rotation moving forward!
I had a live edge case as well but I had to send it back. Such a beautiful case but the MagSafe had almost no strength. What a shame.
Your case looks normal to me.
Case looks fine to me. All leather has some natural imperfections. That’s what makes it beautiful. Over time that case will patina and change Color depending on where it contacts your hands. I wouldn’t worry about any slight color variations if it were my case.
