Case looks fine to me. All leather has some natural imperfections. That’s what makes it beautiful. Over time that case will patina and change Color depending on where it contacts your hands. I wouldn’t worry about any slight color variations if it were my case.
Okay thank you! Bullstrap is amazing, I can buy in my country only Apple, Nomad and Mujjo leather, got Nomad earlier but Bullstrap is the real “bull”. I will never buy other case, maybe Andar. ?

My Aspen came in last night, a day late just like the first time I ordered. And, like the first time, it almost seems like the case is too small around the bottom. The lip around the screen seems normal up top and along the sides but as you get nearer the open bottom, it pretty much dwindles to nothing. I returned the last one for this reason but I think I'll roll with this for a while. I noticed they were touting their "minimal design" and "snug fit" so maybe this is how it's supposed to look.... Hard to say.

Another thing I noticed is the buttons require significantly more force than a bare phone or Apple's leather case. Hopefully they break in over time.

Edited to add: Wowsa. I just went back and looked at the photos I posted of my first Andar case and you'd never be able to guess they came from the same company if it weren't for the color. The leather surrounding the camera frame is perfect, where on the last one it looked ragged and uneven. The steel frame exposure is perfectly symmetrical on this one, whereas it was uneven and hid bits on the first. I'm happy to see such massive improvements because I was very disappointed with that case after reading all of the positive feedback here.

Good thing your iPhone has Ceramic Shield for a face down drop…..yeah, that bottom edge is useless in a drop. Or get a screen protector.

My Andar buttons were very stiff - give it a few weeks - definitely gets easier with time. Now they're almost like the Apple case buttons (at least my Andar case is).

I definitely like my Bullstrap better than my Andar case - but the Andar is a VERY close second. And I realize some people already posted but - your case looks fine to me too.

Yep, after posting I ended up dropping it on a tile bathroom floor. Didn't take long at all. Everything looks as it did before, which is uncracked with a ton of scratches.

How many cards does the Andar fit? I love using the Apple Wallet, but have found that I really need 4 cards...
It fits two comfortably. You may be able to get three in there. I carry two cards: my work badge (slim card similar to a license) and a parking garage badge (a thicker card).

Scratches where? On the case i hope!!! A case that exposes the glass anywhere is as useful as poop-flavored lollipop IMHO.

Screen. Lots of scratches and no idea what caused them.
Oh man, sorry……that sucks!!! Scratches were not there before the drop, right?

If not, then your case peeled back and your screen got exposed to the tile floor. Tile has minute irregular surfaces and/or dirt.

I have had cases before that peeled back too easily on drops. Andar case is worthless in my book if those scratches happened with the drop.

Noooo... I don't think there's any new scratches although it's getting to the point where it'll be hard to tell since there's so many of varying depths.

Do you use a screen protector? I tell everyone I sell a phone to that the ceramic screen is great for not cracking but it scratches SO easy. I even see people come in to buy a screen protector and their screen is already micro scratched. The screens are so easily scratched. I would love for Apple to come out with a screen that doesn’t scratch so we don’t need screen protectors

Just imagine how much more an iPhone would cost if it came with "Apple Glass"

Nah, I upgrade every year and minor damage doesn't bother me. The only reason I use a case is because I like leather.

Had an Apple Leather Case for my iPhone 13 Pro Max since November 10. It got very greasy and I tried to clean it. Apple recommends some water and mild soap. This is what I did. It didn’t end well. My case still feels very greasy and it feels like wet cardboard now. I asked the shop where I bought it (Coolblue in Netherlands), but unfortunately when you clean your case, your warranty is voided, they said.

I decided to look for a new leather case. Not Apple this time. I found Wiiuka and got it in today. It feels really nice. It is soft leather and much less ‘plastic’ than the leather cases I got from Woolnut (didn’t like the Cognac color, a bit too dark brown). I also had an ESR one and returned that one too. The Apple Leather Case also feels a bit plastic compared to Wiiuka. It just feels completely different and even smells like leather for sure.

Buttons are nice too. Is there anything I don’t like? Yes, they advertise it is MagSafe compatible, so I suspected a magnet inside the case. There is not, so the MagSafe keeps falling off when charging and picking up the phone. I found that annoying and still had an ESR HaloLock Ring laying around. Applied it to the case and it is just the way I want it now. Didn’t know HaloLock would stick to leather, but it works perfectly.

Upgraded to the AirPods 3 after a little over a month from buying my nomad leather case for the gen 1s. I didn’t want to fork out over 40$ again right now so I did what anyone would do and searched Amazon. Located a “nomad look a like” genuine leather case. And for 17$ (10$ in rewards) honestly I was shocked.

Smells amazing, you can tell it ain’t horween but still. Seems to be great quality, build feels very solid. Looking forward to see where it goes.
