Jealous. Beautiful pictures, beautiful case, love those lines.
I bought mine from amazon.

I looked at 6 midnight cases in a shop. None had stripes. I guess I was really lucky. I like the stripes very much. It seems to be rare.

By the way … pictures shot on iPhone 13 Pro ?

I love the stripes too ❤️

The midnight dark blue is also amazing. It matches perfect with the silver iPhone 13 pro ?
? very nice! Here’s a few photos of how mine has been aging. I must say I couldn’t be happier.

Mine is solid too, both on my Belkin 3 in 1 bedside charger and the car vent MagSafe magnet phone holder in my truck. No issues with falling off at all. I love my Bullstrap case! I do wish Andar made the two tone Marshal case in MagSafe though. That case looks fantastic.
Looks like they recently added the Marshal case for the 13.. with the leather bump! I'm really tempted but ahhh I need to stop collecting cases. ?

Figures. I love this and I have an Aspen on the way to be delivered Tuesday. Guess I’ll be doing a swap.

What did you do to remove the coating? Tempted to have a go with my year old SB case, it doesn’t have a uniform patina unfortunately.
On day one I removed the bulk of the coating with a damp magic eraser. Once that was done I let the case dry for a few hours and then wiped it down with an alcohol wipe to get any remaining bits of coating off. Then I parked my butt on the couch and massaged the case with my hands and an old "clean" sock for a hour or so to help re-hydrate the leather. From there its just daily use, no added oils or conditioners. The leather is smooth, smells great and has a nice shine to it. Did the same process to the wallet and the airpod case as Native Union uses the same coatings on their leather. The airpod case is about 10 months old.

Anybody here have any experience with Coach folio for iPhone? I ran across this on the Coach outlet website:

View attachment 1942027

My mom got this exact Coach folio for her iPhone X a few years ago. She still uses it to this day and she absolutely LOVES it. The edges are worn as expected but the canvas still looks great, the magnet still sticks right and the phone is unscathed. The only thing she does is wipes down the front and back canvas once in a while with a damp cloth and that's it.

one thing though is that it is TOUGH to get the iPhone in and out of it (for the X model), I have to do it for her and I just push through the camera area to pop it out. Be careful of the stainless steel band because the thing that grabs onto it is hard plastic.

Definitely worth the money though, IMO considering how hard she is on her iPhone.

Thank you for the feedback. It is hard to know what to expect, particularly without being able to handle it before placing the order, and the reviews on the Coach website were mixed (but mostly very good). It was on sale, still not cheap but I figured it would be worth trying. My wife is using a Nomad folio case now, and it is very good but not nearly as attractive as the Coach, so I think she'll be very happy with this one (late Christmas present).

Don't worry she'll love it. It looks very chic and the leather on the inside is still quite nice. It's very expensive but the brand power can't be denied and I personally think it looks very nice. The nomad would be too "masculine" of a folio IMO.

You're right about the nomad, but she needed/wanted a folio case and at the time it was the best one I could find. I'll use it myself when she gets the Coach, I also like having a folio case (right now I'm using an Apple case but they don't offer a folio for the 13 Pro Max yet). So it is a win-win for both of us!

She's going to feel like a baller with the Coach folio ?? My mom has dropped her iPhone in that case a couple of times and so far so good! Yeah, plus you'll have a headstart on the patina on the Nomad too! Win win for real!

It did drop down to $79 ($75 for the non mag safe versions)
I did exchange my "classic" for the MagSafe version.

Just a well made leather case, I love the Bourbon, looks darn good.
The magnet on the back could be stronger though. My only nit-pick about it.

In my experience, I think their customer service is A++ also.

I've heard the magnet is quite weak as well. Have you tried mounting it on any car MagSafe mounts, like the Belkin or the ESR? That's my main concern holding me back from purchasing one of these! Thanks :) (and sorry for digging an old post up lol)

I use the Belkin car mount and have had the Bullstrap fall a couple of times just from going over a speed bump (mind you this is normal speed, not going crazy on the roads or anything). Truthfully the only issue with the magnets comes in when I have the phone mounted in the car, but since that's a major thing for me I don't use the Bullstrap as much as I'd like.

I did pick up the Andar case and the magnets are way better on that case for sure.

I always have my phone attached to a charging cord when I'm in the car, works like a tether if I leave the phone on the center console and it falls to the passenger side floor or somewhere I can't reach . . .

Caved in and bought a bullstrap! Got it in the bourbon color and wow is this ever a sight of beauty! Makes the Apple leather case look and feel plastic.

Got one for my husband for his birthday and broke down and told him (ruining the surprise) but he’s now anxiously awaiting his!!

Pics of my new one on my 12 pro max

Thanks I appreciate the insights! That's a big dealbreaker for me too. I'll check out the Andar, and perhaps the Decoded case too as it seems to have a lot of positive reviews here. Thanks!
