Is it possible to use the iPhone 13PM leather cases on my 12 PM?

Anyone have any experience with using them. I sort of like the colours more.

Yes but is everything else not the same?
I’ve had success with using 13 PM cases on my 12 PM (Gripzilla and Caudabe Sheath are a few that work) but haven’t tried any leather cases. I’m eyeing the new Andar Marshal that had MagSafe on their 13 PM cases but it’ll be hard to take this awesome Bullstrap Sienna off my phone ?

Although it's not a case, I wanted to share the full grain leather skin from dbrand. I applied a full body skin from ArmorSuit on my iPhone 13 Pro Max first and then applied the dbrand skin on top of that.

With just the ArmorSuit:

I also applied a lens protector for the camera since I don't have a case to protect the housing, but I might eventually remove it because it adds some unnecessary weight.
I don't expect too much patina, but I'll post some update pictures if I notice any change.

Can anyone quote me an answer in this thread, how do I protect the leather? Do I apply some oil or?

Depends on the leather. For my Nodus leather cases I never did anything other then wiping it with baby wipes. Otherwise you can use leather balm. The case producer usually has recommendations. Some balms darkens the leather so be adviced. I have never used any waterproofing products on my cases either but depending on the leather, it could be adviceable.

It’s an apple case, and I would like it preserved the way it is now. Unfortunately I have a bad feeling that’s it’s not going to age well, thus I would like it preserved as is.

I see. I have no experience with Apples leather cases. I stay away from them as they don't use veg tanned leather and they use chemical colour coatings, bad for the environment and no nice patina. Hopefully someone else will chime in about the care for Apple leather!

The best thing you can do it actually not protect it so to remove the horrible coating the leather has.

View attachment 1947575Is this finally it? Wiiuka leather case for the iPhone 12. Soft real leather and very grippy. Clicky metal buttons, small logo on the bottom of the back. I bet this will be a patina monster. The only downside for some (but not for me) might be that the case has no built in magnet. However the MagSafe charger finds the magnet of the phone easily but no accessory like a wallet will work.

Do you live in Germany? I wanted to order but costumer service said they only deliver in Germany:/

Not sure why people here are saying no but I’m using the midnight leather case on my 12PM and it fits perfectly. You’ll be fine.

Just applied some Nikwax on my apple California poppy and golden brown apple wallet. Will see if I can avoid the horrible peeling that happens on these new leather cases (especially California poppy). Will post updates.

Isn't Nikwax more of a weather proofing product? To prevent any kind of wear you'd need something that forms a hard finish over the case. It would need to be a finish that is harder than whatever objects rub against your phone. I may be wrong here but I don't think Nikwax is going to prevent the corners from wearing.
