Bottom lip of the 14P andar case which is consistent all the way around.
Coming from a 12P, the camera bump this time is massive. The bullstrap bump w/o the plastic ring looks better. But the raised ring around the bump actually was helpful for me to prevent smudging the lens when applying leather conditioner.

So that is the andar correct in brown?
I see what you mean with the camera ring. I prefer the metal raised ring myself and full bottom of the Andar vs the bullstrap. How’s the rest of the quality? I opted with the camel tan which seems to be spot on with the OG apple saddle color which aged wonderfully, only time will tell.
I bought the camel tan last time so decided to try the brown this time. I think the workmanship is fine, clicky buttons and even lip all the way around. Magsafe magnet *feels* stronger than the 12P version. The ring around the camera bump feels and sounds like plastic though, not metal.

If anyone plans to buy from kings loot, I’d stay away from them. Seems like they filter negative reviews. I tried leaving a review twice and it never got posted.
Agreed. I emailed and told them that I’d like to return for a refund. I’m going with a light colored Andar case. Unfortunate because I really like everything else I’ve purchased from Blackbrook.
Same here so back it goes. The camera bump not fitting right and just the gross sandpaper feel turned me right off. It looked like it was used when taken out of the box as well with all the silver paint from their box all embedded into the leather and it was blotchy all over with dark spots and light spots. It even shows that sort of thing if you look close on the website photos. They blew it. Hopefully they come out with a revised version of something. It was like ocd though just holding that case it just felt terribl3 in hand when other good leather cases you find yourself just holding them as a tactile thing as they feel so good like OG saddle brown back in the xs days.

Hmmm not sure what to think about that camera bump. If that was done a little cleaner looking I think I’d be all in.
Does anyone have pictures of their Apple leather case in black/midnight aged over time with consistent magsafe charger usage? 14P being my first magsafe-compatible phone I want to use magsafe to charge overnight (not to mention first leather case, I’ve always gone with silicone). I understand there will some sort of ring imprint and I don’t mind that but I just want to see what I’d be getting in to.
The camera ring was definitely anodized black aluminum for the last years Aspen cases.
Looking at your photo the camera ring does look like it was changed.

Would never order from Bullstrap again. I did it last year and it took months to come in. Multiple commitments and failures to deliver. Final product when it came in was good, but the overall experience was terrible.
They have figured out their customer service. I think that a year ago they weren't sure what the demand would be and they got overwhelmed.
How did the camel color you had previously turn out? I am strongly considering grabbing the Aspen as it’s available now vs waiting for Bullstrap. The only thing I am second guessing is that camera ring which appears plastic and sort of cheap looking.
