How do you have the iPhone battery widget on the screen? I don't get that option when looking at the battery widgets.

Looks like the camera ring is alloy to match the buttons.
I got Camel tan because it matches the old apple saddle brown and if you check the andar site in the reviews section a guy had posted a before and after patina showing it darken very nicely just like the old apple cases.
This make sense because my case from last year, the horween platinum case which is great came that chocolate color when new its just a bit too dark to show much patina.
We shall see. the Andar is on the truck for delivery today.
Would love to see some pics when you have it, along with opinion on fit.
Im so tempted to order but being UK based, returning, if not happy with will be tricky
15 days with Bullstrap Sienna on my 13. Satisfied how the patina starting to appear.

I've been using the 14P brown version for a few days now. No issues other than me forgetting how slippery a new andar case was. My 12P was like that too in the beginning.
I like the striations on the back of of the case.

Nope. Everytime I inquire they dance around the question not giving a straight answer so not sure what to think. I ordered the Andar case this morning and it will be here on Friday.
I’m very tempted by Andar as well, despite the rocky history I have with them.
Yea I am not sure whether or not I am going to wind up cancelling the Bullstrap one if it doesn't ship relatively soon. I won't wait until 10/17 like the website says. The Andar after the 20% off promo code (EME20) and express shipping only cost $53 dollars.
I just ordered a Navy Aspen and a black from Ryan London. The Aspen will likely be returned as I know the RL is fantastic quality. That one is also shipping mid-October.
You don't think your going to like the Andar now even with the closed bottom?
I just know I’ve had quality control issues with them in the past and their buttons aren’t near as nice as what Ryan London and Bullstrap use. I’d love to be surprised when I receive it though.
Yea I guess well see. I mean for the price, its cheaper than Apple's leather case (which I generally have always used) and I imagine it has to be better than that.
The Apple leather case my wife chose to use out of all the available cases (12 total) is amazing. It’s developed a nice patina and smells like actual leather. I’m half tempted to trade my clear case in for a leather.
Interesting...I actually ordered a few Apple leather cases before starting to explore other options. Needless to say they are all shipped back as returns as something just felt off compared to last years when I first received it.
Apple cases are extremely overpriced for the low-grade leather they use.
Decent overall, just $20-$25 too expensive for what they are.

Loving my Decoded 14 Pro Max case. Buttery soft, grippy leather with MagSafe, a fully enclosed bottom, and clicky metal buttons.

Now that is a beautiful leather case. Upgraded from the clear case for $10. I’m a happy camper.
OK just got the Andar in and I'm very impressed. I love it.
Color is just like the original apple saddle which should patina into a nice rich tobacco.
Bottom is now closed.
Leather quality is amazing. Full grain vs bullstraps top grain. (Full grain is the top grade of leather) Very strong leather scent right off the bat. Feels great in hand. You just want to keep touching it unlike the blackbrook which felt like sandpaper. The Andar leather is not too thick and not too thin. No weird folds in the leather on the corners etc.
Fitment is excellent. Fits exactly like the apple "fake" leather cases. Good magsafe magnets, nice clicky buttons.
My only small gripe is that I really wished they went with silver/chrome/bronze/ etc camera ring and buttons vs black but it's not a big deal. The camera ring is alloy BTW, not plastic.

I would say they are about the same. I just had an umber apple case but just sent it back the other day.
That was another reason why I wasn't a fan of the blackbrook. It was a lot bulkier than the apple case, that and it didn't fit right around the camera bump and was so thick you couldn't use the mute switch without like sticking a pen of something in there to use it.
The Andar passes the mute switch test just like the apple case. I was almost going to go with bullstrap but I just can't see paying almost double for open bottom, lower grade leather and no metal camera ring. This Andar (wierd name) is great.
