Definitely as it's a slimmer (just about) case.
Do you use a screen protector? If so, the apple leather case basically sits flush with that
you’re right. it’s the absence of the stabilizing magnet. i did notice once attached to the case for a while, the wallet stuck on pretty well despite this.
here are pics of my Andar and Apple leather combos. i couldn’t reproduce that light gray color in natural lighting like the other user. still a very light milk chocolate brown in my opinion. also, the Andar logo stamp on the side is a bit crooked.
Overall, the Aspen is a solid case. a little thicker than the Apple one but the feel and smell of the leather is great. i’m just not a big fan of the end result color of it. i was expecting a much lighter gray.
for now i’m sticking with my Ink/Dark Cherry combo for my Deep Purple Pro Max.

Ohhhh I love that blue/cherry combo.
Sounds like Andar is banking on the smell and falling short in other areas.
Nevermind, I see it on their website. Curious as to what people think of those this year.
I want one but don’t want to wait and sure as hail don’t wanna pay $90 for it. If Ryan London had a nice non-black case I’d be all over it.
I'm right there with you and I really like my Andar. But I will end up buying one if they are nice because of that warranty. I'd like to keep this phone for a while and in the end if I have the phone 3 years and go through 3 cases it is more cost effective. But I'll definitely wait to see how they are.
I actually just went ahead and bought a case from Ryan London. Them and Bullstrap were indistinguishable last year aside from the branding.
Ryan London has started shipping. Pretty much the same as BullStrap. Great customer service as well
Ryan London also has a pretty subtle logo on the side of the phone. It is also full grain vs Bullstraps top grain. They also offer free shipping to the states and last time I ordered it got here in less than week. The best part is that cost far less than BullStrap. I think I paid $50 free shipping.

It looks like their site changed today now showing Oct 31st but I think that's if you order now. For those in the first wave of preorders they said they would start shipping out by 10-10 for all colors except Dune. We shall see.
Its way better than the CRAP-PLE... I mean Apple leather case though for $20 dollars cheaper. Sounds like you just had a bad experience that doesn't mean everyone else will.
Received the tracking last Wednesday. Now in London Heathrow for the short flight to the Netherlands. Hope to receive it next week. 🤞
Looking really forward for that brownish colour. Also since the Forrest Green leather case from Apple is already showing its signs of Apple patina.. after less than a month 😞

Well in all fairness, I had two bad experiences and see the same flaws on cases I’ve seen posted here.
I love reading the Apple trash talk around here. There’s definitely better leather but for general fit and finish and decent protection you can’t go wrong with Apple’s offering.
Why are you so concerned with the Apple cases? Who gives a crap if people trash talk them....you point out flaws in other brands so 🤷♂️. Just because that is what your currently using you don't need to justify it to anyone...just use it. For $65 bucks you can't sit there and think its worth it. Another $7 dollars more you get a Bullstrap or get the Ryan London one if you don't mind the open bottom.
I am not surprised by it one bit on the wear after owning them since the form factor change. Its all the same.... Be careful the Apple leather police might criticize you though.
Can I ask why are you washing your hands before touching the case? I’m just curious.
No concern here, friend. I welcome criticism for any and all products but if it’s the same few voices or a bunch of newbies squawking about how Apple leather is fake or spray painted or they're not using real leather I find it all a bit ridiculous.
Bullstrap is almost $90 shipped vs. $59 for Apple and you wouldn’t see the BS til next month if you ordered today.
I had a Bullstrap on my 13 Pro and loved it to death. I ordered a Ryan London leather case just this afternoon because I prefer the open bottom and buttons of those cases but the AL will still see usage.
Bullstrap is almost $90 shipped---I paid $72 after promo code ($68 plus $4 dollars shipping)
You wouldn’t see the BS til next month if you ordered today-- Good thing I didn't order today.
