here are pics of my Andar and Apple leather combos. i couldn’t reproduce that light gray color in natural lighting like the other user. still a very light milk chocolate brown in my opinion. also, the Andar logo stamp on the side is a bit crooked.

Overall, the Aspen is a solid case. a little thicker than the Apple one but the feel and smell of the leather is great. i’m just not a big fan of the end result color of it. i was expecting a much lighter gray.

for now i’m sticking with my Ink/Dark Cherry combo for my Deep Purple Pro Max.

That’s the gray?! Wow, I think it will look nice with my gold. I’m going to order and check it out. I’ll post pics when it arrives!

For me, the extra weight and bulk combined with weaker MagSafe makes these other leather cases a no-go. I love the fit of the Apple leather. The years when I had concerns about the lighter colors I’ve just gone with the black version. Never failed me. But hey, to each his own. It doesn’t really bother me that someone else prefers these other brands. I don’t get why y’all get so upset over dumb cases.

So many good options this year Apple with the Umber and Ink color Andar with bottom protection now. RL and BullStrap cases if you if you prefer an open bottom. Idk even know which case to use anymore lol

The corners and sides of my umber case are starting to darken. I noticed this today. Most likely due to the black pants I wear to work.

I think overall the case is looking darker.

It’s a shame really, this is honestly my favorite brown Apple leather case ever but I don’t think I’ll be buying one again.

That’s why I returned mine. Every leather apple case goes south after the honeymoon period. Fit and MagSafe good but the quality is questionable.

I wonder if those corners are just destined to get destroyed much faster than the curved edges on the 11 and prior.

Does Andar or other 3rd party with better leather get that grungy as quickly on the corners?

Andar brown is pretty nice, and it matches the brown nomad airpods cases compared to my previous Andar camel tan.
