Do any of you have creaky sides on the leather cases? I have a black 8 Plus leather case and it creaks on the sides when you grip the phone. Stuff like that wouldn't bother me at all but when I'm browsing on my phone with a good grip, I can feel the case slightly creaking on the sides and it feels as if the phone is too small for it.

Can Apple replace this case?

I had this problem with my cornflower colored case. Apple swapped it but I was within the 14 day return period. Not sure if this would be covered under warranty. Maybe someone else can give their take?

Yes on both accounts. I think it's luck of the draw. I got a creaky one but they let me exchange it.

That’s the problem! Not even hard! It feels as if the iPhone is too small for this case in a way and it creaks when you grip it. I’m going to try the Apple store today and see what they say.

I have the black leather case on my xs max and there's no movement or creak at all. Fits pretty tight.

Had 2 forest green cases have this same problem. Drove me nuts. My black leather case fits perfectly.

Ahh, had this problem on many including the green ... found the solution actually. When you get it, before putting it on the phone, bend in the edges as much as you can; seemed to work

Thank you for this! I just tried doing this by applying light force to bend in the edges without damaging it and it really minimized the creaking.

It's a shame so many forest green cases have that problem. It's by far my favorite but it not fitting properly is a dealbreaker. It also looks like it's sold out on the apple store site, too.

Here you go! Gold XS Max with the black leather case. I have the black and saddle brown case, and I have to say that the phone looks more striking with the black case. The gold stands out more vs the saddle brown where it blends in

I found a video review of the black case, and the guy had a gold XS Max.

Love the gold rim around the camera against the black case.

I’ve got the black case and am gonna pick up the gold XS Max tomorrow.

I just got my iPhone X PRODUCT(RED) leather case today.
I love the color (and the case), but I feel like whenever I touch the case, my hands sweat (the case if getting slippery).
Am I the only one with it and does it get better with time ? It doesn't happen 100% of the time.

Bit strange that your hands sweat but the case will become tackier after a couple of days and more grippy

Sometimes it's unavoidable like you might get caught in a rainstorm (it actually happened to me but I had another case on at the time) or condensation of a cold drink on a table at a restaurant or bar... etc

Should I just forget it and let it battle the elements like this?

I think a lot of water (like dropping it into a swimming pool) isn’t good, even though I think rain might be ok...

My Bull Strap case on my iPhone XR. Just got it 5 days ago but loving it so far! It came a nice dark tan to begin with so I’m excited to see how it will patina.

The black and the silver look really nice together too and was my favorite combo. Rocked the black for almost a year and a half. Tried the Taupe for a bit and wasn't a fan in the end as much as I thought or wanted to. Having said that, this forum has been great and you guys convinced me to get the Saddle Brown for my X! It's been on my radar for awhile too. Was going to wait for new phone before getting one but decided against it and bought one last week. Problem is, I've been rocking the iPhone naked for 3 weeks now and damn, it's one sexy phone and fun to use in it's natural form but I did miss the case feel too. So, the SB case was sitting around for a week, staring at me each time I walked by. haha Although it was hard to go back to a case, I finally put it on my phone today and it is nice! I actually like the SB color new more than I thought I would but I can't wait until it patinas, which is the real reason I bought it. Looking forward to seeing how it patinas and continue to read others in this forum! I'll post pics down the road.
