This concerns me also.are you guys obsessive about not having magsafe show up on leather wallets with use (wallets, pop socket, etc) or dont care and all part of the wear?
I generally dont care with my silicone and caudate, but questioning which route I should go before I go too deep .
still think ill pop socket since its just so ergonomic and deal with any wear laterbut polling opinions here for leather aficionados
The front lip feels ridiculously good on this case when my hand wraps around it, adds some natural feeling curve. Same with camera bump

I always find myself going back to the Apple case
I’m the same way. I love bullstrap and RL…but damn the fit of the apple leather feels incredible and unmatched.
Especially the how slim they are. I know they don’t patina but that’s why I love the midnight because I don’t really have to worry about it looking dirty or anything and it looks great with space black
Currently rocking the black one as well. If you get a color that doesn't patina, they're pretty much the perfect case.
Verizon website has 14 pro and pro max black leather apple for $42 rn
its a good fit but the quality of leather has been noticeably lacking since iPhone 12 onwards.

I use several MagSafe accessories on a daily basis and if it does show it’s subtle. But yes, I consider it part of the patina which is just a fancy word for the signs of use.
It's a shame Apple sacrifice so much with the actual leather quality. If they work on that aspect and combine it with their perfect fit, finish & feel, they could have most of the leather case market on lock.

I agree. That being said, they are not hurting on sales of these cases to people who really don’t notice or don’t care so they probably look at it as if it’s not broke why fix it mentality.
Exactly. They’ve probably managed to save a fair bit on costs by reducing the leather quality but still maintained the same RRP and sell shed loads

Is it just me or is this expected? I am starting to see some wear on my two week old Andar camel tan case. The top corners seem to darken quickly and look worn out. Probably due to the fact that I keep the phone in my jeans pocket for couple hours throughout the day.
I’ve dropped the phone on tile surface a couple times and the rim or the border around the screen are starting to look worn out and looks like someone tried to pick on the case.
I am hard on my phones but never realized how much with those plastic cases. In the summer, I’ll probably need to switch since I use my phone near the pool and do a lot of outdoor activities which tends to be dirty.

That’s all natural 👍🏼. The wear and differences you’re noticing is the patina of the leather. It’ll change over time, mainly from the oils of your hands. Enjoy the patina as it makes your case/leather goods uniquely yours 😎. And if the scuff marks concern you, you should just send a message to Andar via their email or social media and they’ll gladly replace it! Their customer service is really good. I know they don’t have lifetime warranty on their cases like Bullstrap, but I still know they’ll gladly replace it. Especially since it’s only 2 weeks old.
The biggest problem with Apple Leather Cases is that they look incredibly wonderful when new. Each time I felt in love with them even if I know that they will disappoint me after some months.
Curious why lots are still going for the apple leather on the 14, wasn't it confirmed its basically garbage and it falls apart instead of patina?
