I bought an umber case at Verizon yesterday for $42. I was looking at Cretanbull, Andar and others, but at this price I pulled the trigger on the Apple. Like the color, but can't wait for it to patina and have more depth.

So a little update on my RL. Started using it on Dec 7, so 23 days with it today.
First photo is a comparison since when new it reminded me of the very early sienna cases without a camera bump, and different leather.
And then RL on the bottom left and sienna for my 14 pro on the bottom right. I’m going to start using the sienna in a few days to see what it does next.

Really happy with the Ryan London, but it’s time for another case…or two 😀
Debating between the Cretanbull Ash and Onyx. Also like the YMW Olive but not a fan of the vintage look.

I have midnight and ink. I’m contemplating getting an umber. I love the color, even though I know it’ll discolor
I am normally caseless at this point but I love the Ink so much I’m still using it.
That’s how happy I am with the Apple case this year.
14 Pro Bullstrap Ocean came in... someone correct me if I'm wrong, but this definitely seems too dark. Should I reach out to Bullstrap for a replacement? Or am I overestimating how blue this case would be? Thanks in advance!
Does the ink get black around the sides? I really want a forest green apple leather case but have a feeling it'll start to look ugly when the sides go black.
Is this one of the cases some posters think are the same as Ryan London, Bullstrap, etc? If so I might take a flyer for less than $20 US.
Pretty sure that’s just the way it looks. I’m on my second Ocean case within the past few years and it is always almost black in most lighting except for direct sunlight where the blues and greens shine through.
Much better than my ‘ocean’ colour….

I went with a bourbon BS on my purple 14 pro and it looks pretty awesome. I’ll post some pics later.
My previous 13 Pro Max Ocean case was much more like the blue colour posted above. Disappointing
This is what exactly will happen. Have the Forrest green. And it quickly started showing the black sides instead of green.
I don’t really mind it because the green is already quite dark. I also use and enjoy my RL case more.
Just something to keep in mind.

I haven’t noticed any discolouring - the leather has softened up for me and in a specific light you can see where it is wearing differently on the back edges from grip. That’s it though.
My green for the 11 Pro Max did the same thing the previous posters did and looked like the coating was wearing off, but this one is months in and nothing like that so far.
