Yeah the buttons aren’t that good with my 3 Andar cases either. I mean they’re good, but nothing like bullstrap or apple leather cases.
That’s the biggest downfall of the case but after using the Bullstrap buttons I couldn’t bring myself to use the Aspen again.

I had the same experience with Andar last year. Wonky buttons on several cases.

Seems Ryan London is the only one in the leather game that made it out of this season kickoff unscathed.

Is it me or were the buttons on the Andar’s not that good? You seem to have a few to compare or maybe mine was just a bad one.
2 out of 4 very clicky. 1 is alright. 1 is mushy. For this one I use a little paper covering the inside button areas and they become very clicky. Overall it’s hit or miss on clickiness imo.

The time has come to retire my California Poppy from my 12 Pro, as I’ve upgraded to a 14 Pro Max today.
I got this case the day they launched and only changed for an Apple silicone case for a short time, maybe around 6-7 months.
Bonus pic of my wallet, which has been in use continuously since they first launched. View attachment 2169191View attachment 2169189View attachment 2169188View attachment 2169190

god that looks awful. how can apple be allowing such poor quality?

Full grain is supposed to be better than top grain, but why do BS cases feel better than Andar cases? Or maybe I need to wait for my Andar to be broken in more.

I’ve wondered the same. Bullstrap feels so much better. Idk if Andar uses too much of a wax coat or what? Cause bullstrap also patinas alot faster.

Umber not holding well. Leather started to peel off from corner. IMG_0436.jpeg

My thought as well. BS is nice to hold, grippy, and buttons are prefect IMO.

Would you rather it was snug or would you prefer the corners popping out in your pocket like another brand around here?
Can you tell me which brand popping out?I have been using many aftermarket and apple cases since 6s and 0 of them popped out.

A lot of people had issues with Apple’s leather cases. I was not one of them.

I had to return an ink Apple leather case to Amazon after a week of use and the corners by the mic and speaker kept popping out. The buttons are also mushy.

No such problems with the midnight color that I kept.

How is you Sienna aging? I don't think I've seen a pic of it for a while. I love my Sienna.
I have haven’t used it very much this year only because I really like the midnight, ink, umber cases and even andars brown case. So my bullstrap has little to no patina right now. My daily driver use to be umber and the on and off between midnight and ink
