I got the oil slick one with the open bottom and had it for almost two months now. Love it!

Magsafe is pretty decent, not the strongest though but mine hasn’t fell of my Magsafe car mount.

That looks like a different case altogether. I have the Orange case for my 14PM, but it looks dreadful. I was contemplating dying the case, but if stripping the colour off leaves me with what is the colour of the worn edges, might look ok as a spare case.

Only issue I foresee is mine (and me!) got absolutely soaked on a bike ride in a down pour, which has left water stains on the rear. Might be that I strip the colour off the case, asses the stain marks-and if too bad, attempt to dye it anyway.

I've been doing some research on Bullstrap vs. Andar for the iPhone, it seems like both brands are equally tied in terms of its pros/cons?

I still can't decide which one to order while I am in the US.

Can’t beat the new leather smell. My favorite part is the fully wrapped camera cutout. I am hoping they can release a blue color option in the future close to Apples old midnight blue. Ocean looks more like forest green most of the time

It’s going to boil down to do you care to have the bottom open or not? If not, then I’d go Bullstrap no question. While you will pay a little more, you’re getting the lifetime warranty. Using promo APPLEWORLDFAMILY which I assume still works will save 15%. The buttons are also better on the Bullstrap in my experience. I also don’t like the metal camera bump wrap on the Andar unless it’s the jet black which sort of hides it. That is of course personal preference. You really can’t go wrong with either but I’d lean BS if having the bottom open was not a big deal.

If you don’t mind an open bottom go with BullStrap. However don’t over look brands such a as Wilken same case just different shade brown Amazon sells them for half the price of BullStrap. Ryan London is another one worth considering. If must have the closed bottom then go with Andar still cheaper than BullStrap. I use BullStrap because of their lifetime warranty and wonderful customer service.
 
Worth mentioning that the metal camera ring on the Andar is very fragile and looks horrid once it chips.

I 100% recommend Bullstrap in this comparison. Last year I ended the year in a Bullstrap and this year, out of allll the leather I tried I’ve settled on Cretanbull which is the same case with a different logo.

I don't care too much about the open bottom, but do prefer a closed bottom. Most important thing for me is the feel/grip, buttons, and the leather quality. Yes I agree on the camera bump of the Andar, it bothers me knowing it chips over time.

I think I'll order the Camel Tan from Andar and the Sienna from Bullstrap for comparison.

That's what worries me in the long run, knowing that it is fragile and will looks terrible once it chips haha!

Even in the sunlight? It’s the sunlight that brings the ink colour out best. Indoor lighting, it’s almost black looking
