The leather cases on the rounded edge phones (prior to 12) will always age better because of the curved edges. Square edged phones are going to see this kind of wear on leather. I also found the rounded edge phones more comfortable and better looking too.... i hope they bring that design back.

Couldn’t agree more with you! 11 pro was and still is my favorite iPhone to date. A more ergonomic design for sure.

I actually went back to the 11 because I hated the way the square edges felt in my hand. My Bullstrap case looks and feels great too.

Another reason why I’m still seriously considering going back to an se3 from my 13 mini. Plus, I have a sienna Bullstrap brand new in the box for the 7/8/SE2-3.

That’s true but you will not found a real black (both Silicone and Leather) by Apple at the moment.

Actual black is called midnight by Apple.

Unfortunately it isn’t. “Midnight” sits somewhere between black and very dark blue. Presumably, it goes well with the Midnight-coloured iPhone 13/14; not so much with the Pro line, though.

I think it looks good. Has kind of a “burnt wood” look to it.

Went and got a discounted Apple Leather Case from Best Buy.

The case doesn't have the waxy coating that I remember Apple Leather cases having - it's really dry. You just can't beat the fit of these things. With the BB discount, it was same price as a silicon case. We'll see how this thing ages.

Love the way the patina looks on this. All natural. No cleaning, no scrubbing like apple cases. Pure leather and pure patina from use.
You can’t ask for anything better than this.
Well except for not seeing the MagSafe magnets.
