It is not possible to tell in this case (see what I did there?) because in either of the cases we cannot see the actual grain layer.
It's not my case. I'm sure a quick eBay search will reveal all, there's usually loads of those fake leather cases on there
Nope but soon there should be more info in here when deliveries come, though some don’t start shipping their 15 model until November.

Midnight MagSafe Wallet after one year. Colour is fine but the rubber side came off. I guess with 13 Mini the sides are pretty exposed as the wallet is the same size as the phone. Wondering if they could still replace it under warranty for the same spec, I wouldn't take another colour or FineWoven I think.

I've seen them but personally I'm not a fan of these colours. Only the black looks good.
I would love to have "natural" brown like in previous apple leather cases.
It's interesting that these are both offered in the same colors as the FineWoven cases. I wonder if the leather case was initially planned but was a last minute change to do the FineWoven.
Yeah, maybe. I have to admit that I used just a little bit of leather conditioner to make it water and dust resistant. I assume that this speeded-up the patina process.
Okay I just placed my order for the Whiskey iPhone 15 case from Keyway. Should ship Friday so I should have it early next week. Stay tuned for photos. Very excited for this case as the patina photos I've seen look amazing. I'm not too worried about the black metal camera frame like Andar has as I always put my phone screen down.
Really wish Bullstrap had planned their case release better and had product to ship. May end up cancelling my order and just keeping my Pitaka case.
I personally never had an issue with any phone with an open bottom case. But I also don't tend to drop my phone so take that for what its worth. I've had both types of cases and the open bottom ones are far more comfortable on the pinky.
It is weird isn't it. Its like they get caught off guard by the release and never have product ready. The have got to be losing sales because of it. There are other good options out there that are ready to go and have been for a while.
I haven't in 4 years of ownership. I also don't drop my phone on hard surfaces that often.
I imagine they’re losing A LOT of sales because of it. I know quite a few people who had bullstrap cases on previous phones and I’m the only one I know of who ordered one for the 15. A lot of people don’t want to throw $80+ at a case they may or may not receive for 40+ days after the 15 release date. Bullstrap really screwed up with their product release.
