Never mind, it was delivered today! Here are pictures. Sorry the lighting isn’t the best. I can take more tomorrow during the day. This is the natural titanium iPhone 15 Pro Max with the Sienna BS case.
How are you liking the Sienna/Natural pairing? Is the case starting to darken any in the short time of use?

On the website when I placed my order it said ships from early October, they changed it to ships mid October
That does not necessarily mean your delivery is delayed. They know fully well how many units can be produced and delivered from their manufacturing partner, so they could very well have noticed they have enough pre orders to fill one batch and thus changed delivery estimate on their webpage to reflect what new orders get.

Anyone have a Ryan London case shipped lately? I ordered one on sept 26 and not received a shipping notice yet.
Still waiting too, I email them and haven’t heard back yet. Ordered 9/12

Edit: they replied the other day i missed it

they’re aiming for mid october.

Bullstrap seems to be ahead of schedule. Ordered on 9/20 should be here Monday 10/9. I think their estimates on their website are very conservative.

Reply from bullstrap regarding full grain showing on website and top grain showing on back of box.

Shoes and bags is one thing, as long as you keep your phone in your pocket there is nothing you will be able to do to make the case look good long term. Why are there not more manufacturers using suede for cases? Because it’s not a good material for a phone case.
I disagree. I think alcantara gets a bad rep from people who just don't take care of it. It's easy to clean. The nap is the part that is more difficult to keep up, but a little brushing every once in a while should do nicely.

Thanks for the info! I just got the notification that it’s finally shipping soon

I’m coming from an 11 Pro with an apple leather case, so to me it was extremely lightweight and I actually prefer the open bottom which is what let me to bullstrap (and is what the 11 Pro had).

Can we get a picture of the 11 pro with the leather case? I would love to see how that’s aged over these years. Awesome for keeping the 11 pro this long.

Can we tell if it’s full grain or top grain from the pictures?

I am not leather expert, so I will leave that to someone else.

It looks very similar to the one I got for my 14PM, and I will say it’s not as smooth as Andar who always says Full grain. I really don’t know though.

Looks like extremely dry full grain to me. I don't know you're obsessing over this. If you're unhappy then return it. The website says full grain, the company told you it's a error (the boxes are made by a different facility than the actual product). It's full grain that was either poorly treated before being sent out or sat in a warehouse for ages drying out. Exchange it or return it. That's why there's a warranty.

The nap is the issue, yes. Doesn't matter how much you brush it, just like the area on shoes where the creases from bending form it will inevitably end up smooth because all the tiny hairs break off. Friction will make easy work of it and with a phone case there's A LOT of constant friction.

That suede gets a bad rep is neither here nor there, but yes it is because people are ignorant and too lazy to care for their shoes properly.

But when it comes to durability it is not a matter of opinion, it is basic physics.

They all look like this. I have one as well. I believe even the 15 look like this.

On full grain leather you can easily see tiny indentations where the pores are. Top grain has the very top layer sanded down to remove blemishes, bug bites and imperfections and due to this has a much more smooth and uniform look. Most of the time you cannot see open pores on top grain leather.

This is what full grain calf leather looks like, you clearly see the pores.
