Any highly recommended leather cases for the iPhone 15 pro with closed bottom and all buttons covered?

Nomad Modern Leather is very nice, but not leather all around. Sides all around are TPU. Horween Leather back is very nice though1

You may be able to get discounts, but the retail price they are asking for the case is $85. That means they think it’s $85 worth of case. Some may disagree, but I do not believe the quality justifies that price.
But who cares what the retail of anything is if you always have access to a promo code. It’s what you pay at checkout is all anyone should care about 🤷🏻‍♂️

They will in the new iteration of the 15 Pro cases.
Both Andar’s I received had terrible buttons. I do have one with the action button that shipped already. Also not a fan of the camera ring which tend to chip overtime. It’s been a known issue and hoped they changed it for the 15 series but appears the same. Those ones are getting returned.

I purchased Vaja leather iPhone cases for my last 2 model iPhones and these are built and ooze quality leather craftmanship. Its a heavy leather material thats very durable. They are based and produced in Argentina.

They honestly look terrible. But each to their own. Also, what is patagonia leather? When they can’t even clearly list what leather it is then it’s likely fake or crap.

That’s fine if you see it that way. Like I have said before, I think their lifetime warranty is worth something, but I still think they are not quite on the level of some of the other leathers out there. I was very disappointed when I got mine. It’s being returned.

If you live in the US, you should never pay $85 for it. You can easily find a 15-20% off promo code or you can setup an account and do the few items to get a $20 off reward. On top of either of those, request a cosmetic replacement and sell one of them and you have a case for next to nothing. It’s funny in this thread people always quoting the full cost, but if you do what’s above you never pay anywhere near that. Out of the US I know their shipping cost sucks.

I mean you are right about what you posted but suggestions like these make me fear for the world is coming to.

They are awesome cases and probably the best leather of most of the stuff mentioned here. Don’t put them down if you never tried one. There are multiple leather choses too.

If they dont proudly list what “grade” leather they use, then they ain’t proud enough of their choice of material. That coupled with the material being patterned tells me it is likely very low quality leather that they smoothed over and stamped with a pattern/grain to make it look fancier.

Prove me wrong.

I always read how great their quality is... maybe you just got a bad one.

But i guess i'll see soon enough... got shipped yesterday

I think it is more so that he was used to Apple leather cases, which uses leather with some kind of special finishing. It is absolutely not unfinished "raw" leather. Then when he receives a case with such "raw" full grain leather all he can refer to is lower quality.

Apple's leather cases were great early on, but it was not top quality leather that's for sure. They still developed amazing patina so I was more than happy with them anyway.

They don’t use nothing fake. It’s all natural high quality sourced leathers. You won’t find better in the industry.

From their website….

That honestly left me with even more doubt. The only real leather terminology used by them is "vegetable tanned", the rest is just fancy words. Someone who tries so hard at dressing up something that is inherently insanely simple with fancy words is someone I cannot trust.

And yes I could absolutely find better in the industry, from tanneries such as du Puy and d'Annonay.

Edit: even if the leather is top notch, which we cannot know, you're paying €100 for a case with huge edge-to-edge cutouts for every single button as well as a big eyesore logo in metal that will never fade. Your only option at this price is also their so called "floater leather" which is described with "should last almost as received the first day" as well as no mention of patina, like they do with their "bridge leather" and "pull-up leather". So, €100 for a case with only 3 color options (none being traditional saddle brown or similar), really awful design, huge permanent metal logo and it cannot even patina?

These companies are getting a little out of hand with the prices.

At least it's something you haven't seen before. It's basically a Nomad modern case with a metal frame that you can attach outside of the TPU.

Huge no thanks, but hey at least they're thinking outside the box.

Actually, one of their leathers that have multiple color choices do patina. I really think you have no clue what you are talking about and I am moving on. Not nice to bad mouth a mfg you have never tried before or no nothing about. So - think you should move on too. 🙂
