Yup! I will say in previous years it was easier because leather was my default. So this year the shopping around has been interesting lol.

And yes it’s your posts and photos promoting Keyway that have me curious to check it out, whiskey color like yours. It’s in my cart just gotta hit pay. Nothing odd or funny that you’ve come across as yet eh?

Nope, I've had no issues. I was a bit concerned that the logo might get in the way of the wallet but its been just fine. It has just the right amount of grip now and the early signs of real patina happening. Very happy with it.

Not sure if the code still works but I used "Insta20" and got 20% off too. I think they also had "Save20" as a working code too.

My Keyway Slate iPhone 15PM case shipped today. Paid the few bucks extra for faster shipping so hopefully it gets here soon. Does anyone know how long it takes to get from Canada to the US?
 
My Keyway Slate 15PM case also shipped today. I noticed they're already sold out in Slate 15PM, although they still have Whiskey and Charcoal.

So I suppose it's a good thing I got a heads-up on the forum here about them being back in stock. Or it's a bad thing, due to further damage to my wallet.

I am waiting patiently for the Keyway Slate for 15P to come back in stock. I signed up for restock alerts last week but haven't receiving anything yet.

Guess it depends where in the US you are. They ship out of Toronto so it will be at the border and in the hands of USPS pretty quickly and then it will depend on USPS shipping speeds. I live on the opposite side of Canada and it took them two business days to get it to me on their fastest shipping option but it didn't have to clear customs to get to me. Is US customs usually pretty quick at clearing packages?

It really depends. I’ve never found it to be consistent but I’m hoping that something coming from Canada should clear customs pretty quickly. I live in Colorado so not very close to the border haha

i'm kind of leaning now towards just sticking with finewoven of all things, which has its own problems, but its slim, light, buttons are clicky and don't stick out too much.

or i dno maybe i'll give keyway a shot LOL first world problems am i right?

Yeah I took several people recommendations here with the Bullstrap and Andar, and neither where what I thought they would be. Good cases, but not first party. There is a big difference.

I think if I ever upgrade it’s gonna have to be FW. I don’t love it, but it’s the only thing that fits perfectly. But I will not be upgrading until at least the 16s are out, but not sold on that idea either.

I was gonna order the keyway slate but unfortunately they don’t ship to the uk. They sent me a nice detailed email apologising and would let me know if it changes. They abandoned worldwide shipping during Covid and haven’t managed to find a reliable option since.

FYI - Looks like Andar is having some sort of anniversary sale. They have 15 pro cases in a variety of colors discounted (though they are still preorders). I ended up ordering Moss and might consider getting Technically Tee’s red or brown/camel tan.

This baffles me because they do a full leather case for the Pixel. My theory might be right though. The Pixel one is sold on the Google store site, and it was made in collaboration with Google. It slim, is leather all over, and looks very similar to the Apple leather case. It appears to me it’s the same idea that they got the phone early to create the case, it’s pretty much 1st party. That’s why it’s so slim and fits perfect.

I still believe until a manufacturer gets the phone and then makes a case for the iPhone, it won’t be the exact same as first party. That’s why Bellroy has the rubber top and bottom. Much easier to make a silicon case and then just slap some then leather over it.

I kept my lonli edition case and it’s a bit more grippy after a week. I also emailed lonli and asked them about the lack of texture and they just refunded me and told me to keep the case, lol. I couldn't give a single fk about the buttons being slightly crooked though!

That was never me. I have had a new Apple leather case every year along with a new iPhone. Always thought Apple’s leather cases were great. Certainly better, lighter and more minimalistic than any leather case I have tried.

Keyway looks interesting. Wish they had a green case and then need to get rid of the logo. Don’t get why mfg’s do that, unless it is Apple. Looks like a X/Twitter logo. Lol

Why are other companies not allowed to brand their stuff except for apple? I'd rather no logos at all!

It’s funny how people question us for loving the Apple leather case. Everyone is free to enjoy whatever they like. Just cause they don’t prefer it, doesn’t make it wrong to like it. Just as I don’t love the Bullstrap and Andar, but I am not saying they are crap cases.

The andar sale is speaking to me to be honest. But are the buttons still a hit or miss with them? My old andar on the 14pm had stiffer buttons than any of my other cases.
