I think I might have a problem. The Ink case next to the Orange and the orange Apple leather case are both over a year old. The Umber I have only had for about 2 weeks, and the lighter Ink is brand new. It’s a back up since the Ink is my favorite case. Can’t get it anymore, and need to have back in case anything happens. And so I can keep the 14pm as long as possible.

The aging isn’t for everyone on the Apple leather cases, but the color options and fit just can’t be beat.

And for all those saying Apple leather didn’t patina, well it’s clear from the Ink they surely do. Even as well.
Time to stock up, $34.99 on Woot

Completely agree. Especially for the darker colors. You can get tons of use out of them. What’s your color of choice?
I had an Ink one but upgraded to 15PM so I've moved on to Nomad English Tan, also had a Forest Green but didn't like it with the purple phone, looked too much joker like

How are you liking the Nomad? I just couldn’t get on board with the TPU sides. How’s the patina going?
I love the English Tan color, I posted the other day I was in a pretty bad car accident last week and my phone went flying around my car. I believe it came out unscathed because of the Nomad TPU, so I'm sticking with it. I also had an English Tan on my 14 pro when I first got it, I enjoyed it but then switched to the ink case. This picture was at about 3-4 months of everyday use.

Oh man sorry to hear about that, but awesome it protected the phone. The patina looks great!

So not phone case, but I thought still some great patina leather love in the Apple category. Both of these bands I bought in the fall of 2015 when released, and still rocking both. The original Fauve Hermes Apple Watch band, and the 2nd Saddle Brown classic buckle Apple Watch band. The ever famous great leather of Apples. They both age beautifully.

Mine after 5-6 months on my 13 mini. I’ve since gone case-less.
That’s pretty much how my 12 mini saddle brown case looked after a few months. I tried to even it out with sandpaper and went too deep jacked the case up worse. Ended up trashing it.

Quick update on the Satchel and Page leather case.

Starting since the day I opened it the leather smell is by far one of the strongest a little bit different than bullstraps I would say, maybe because of the vegetable tanning process (idk I am no expert) all I know is that it smells like leather for sure!

Build and fit is great! No complaints there out of the box I noticed that it is a lot glossier than a Ryan London, Bullstrap and Wilken which lean more towards the dry grainy side. It is also very grippy right off the bat.

The buttons are very clicky same as Bullstrap and Ryan London and Wilken.

Overall it is a great case in terms of dimensions I can’t give you those, but if you’re fine with Bullstrap and RL than you’ll be fine with this. Just one minor thing is that I wish the color was a bit lighter and I noticed that it marks up pretty easily as well, not too worried about this part since that is something that happens to leather. Nonetheless I’m happy to have it in my rotation.

That looks pretty good but I agree I wish it was darker too. I think I will pick up a Satchel and Page phone case and the airpods pro case just waiting to see what their black Friday sale looks like. Looks like they have 25% right now but not sure if it will get any better for BF or not?

I think Satchel & Page uses Vachetta leather. They don’t outright state it, but they write they use leather made in Tuscany, from the cow’s shoulder as well as stuff it full of oils. That is the main 3 hallmarks of Italian Vachetta leather.

If they had a lighter brown, like saddle brown, I would buy one right now to check them out. I have been looking high and low for a good phone case in Vachetta leather.

I received my Satchel & Page case a couple of days ago but I’ve been unable to get you guys a picture. I’ve herniated a disc in my lower spine so I’m basically bed ridden and can’t move. I know a few of you wanted to see the case on the natural titanium. I’ll hopefully be able to get a picture tomorrow.

Overall, I love the case. The feel of the case is completely different to the BS or RL, presumably due to the different tanning process. It’s slightly slippery but I love the feel of the case and I agree with @s2k_ap1 the smell is amazing. Not convinced on the color combo with the natural yet but it’s growing on me.
