Another thing to note, and I'm sure others may very well fit this bill too. Once the phone is in the Keyway case.. it feels like a solid brick. And I mean that in a good way. Just a prefect fit, that gives confidence while in hand. Well, once the leather starts getting a bit more grip (and that does take a bit..) Just overall a SOLID choice for those looking to get into a leather case for a very reasonable price.. Carry on

Sorry I just have the regular 15 model. Also case weight has never been a concern for me when buying.

I have that ymw case. It’s a very hard leather. And a very difficult case to take on and off. It’s like a suede leather. I really enjoy my YMW crazy horse. Super snug fit, and for the price it's pretty hard to beat. Buttons were pretty meh during unboxing, but now they are perfect.
When I do eventually order a second Whiskey case I'm going to experiment on the old one and pull the X off and then use it as a stencil to cut a leather X from some spare black leather and glue it in. If it works then I might replicate that process on the new case to get that smooth finish.
I think we should all just flood their customer support email and say we love everything about the case except the X and try to get them to change the design. Really it would be cheaper for them to not put the X on the back of the case and no one has any idea that means it’s a Keyway.

I’ll agree, the quality and fit of these cases is second to none and touch wood no issues with my X bubbling this time around, maybe it was a bad batch?

Pretty disappointed in Bullstrap as a company tonight. Wanted to return the case I ordered from them (doesn’t fit well, not a fan of the texture of the case) and was told I can’t return it because I removed the tag upon opening it. This tag goes through the camera opening and you can’t fit the phone in there with it in place so it essentially has to be removed to try the case.
Supposedly the tag states you can’t return the case once removed so it is ultimately my fault for not reading that when trying the case but I think Bullstrap is sticking too literally to their name and pulling some BS here with customer service where they have a tag that’s basically a gotcha for being unable to return items.

I never had any positive experiences with their customer service dept either. That’s part of why I don’t use them anymore. Shame really because their products are usually pretty good.
Unfortunately it isn’t something I can photograph. The case essentially creaks and pops whenever you pick it up. They will only offer an exchange at this point, which I don’t want as I just want it returned. Not the end of the world, but they’ve definitely lost my business moving forward.
