Just got the decoded leather case for the 15 pro and while it feels nice and smells nice, I’m noticing an issue where the area near the charging port is a gap is between the case and the phone, does anyone else with this case have this issue?
Mine had that.

They offered an exchange but ended up refunding and letting me keep it.

Some of the FineWoven cases are like this too; think it's normal

Mine also had that but they outright refused to do anything about it for me.

When they offered an exchange, they had no stock to exchange it with - which I pointed out to them. Its then, they just refunded me

This is the response I received when I raised the same issue on Oct 9:“Thank you for your message.
We do not see any problems with this case and therefore cannot send a new one under warranty. If you experience greater inconvenience with the case in the future, please feel free to message us again. The warranty of the case is 2 years.”

I sold the case shortly after.

You'll learn to ignore it over time I expect. My Decoded leather had the same issue albeit only slightly - and that combined with a bit of case OCD sent me onto my chase of the perfect leather case, landing on Ryan London and Keyway.

If you purchased with a credit card that had return protection, you can always go through that process. AMEX at least tends to be pretty good about being on the customers side.

Unfortunately it isn’t something I can photograph. The case essentially creaks and pops whenever you pick it up. They will only offer an exchange at this point, which I don’t want as I just want it returned. Not the end of the world, but they’ve definitely lost my business moving forward.
Might as well take the exchange and then see if you can return and be like oh look the tag is still on after all 😂

Does anyone have all andar/keyway/bullstrap to comment on thickness and weight between them?
For the 15 Pro:
Andar - About 37
Bullstrap - About 33g
Keyway - About 35g

I’d say for thickness, they are all extremely similar with the Bullstrap maybe being a hair thicker but it doesn’t feel that way because of the open bottom.

I figured as much, I’ll live with it for a few days and decide whether or not it bugs me enough to return lol.

That new Ryan London with the closed bottom looks really interesting, I’m considering it lol 😂

quite interesting that the thickest of the lot is also the lightest one.
Yeah I’m not sure what’s going on there. It could be an illusion in hand feel kind of thing. The Bullstrap is nearly identical to the Ryan London but the leather feels a bit smoother/softer on the RL IMO and no logo on the back.

My RL got the shipping confirmation today! Hopefully it doesn’t take two weeks to arrive in Texas

Don't fret. I never noticed on my Keyway, but I've got the same "air gap" down there just like your Decoded. Like yours, you need to get it in the right light to see it. Before you posted this, I never saw it. So it must not be a big deal as I've be oblivious to it thusfar.. 🤣

Yep, my Keyway has the slight gap too. I think its just because the cutout for the USB-C port is bigger than the ones we were used to on the old Lightning cases to accommodate more cables from third party vendors. It doesn't bother me but I can understand how it may bother some people.
