I believe it only takes that long because there wasn’t stock. My replacement took 2-3 days

Looks great except for the price tag & shipping costs. Personally I’d rather get the Keyway in slate and save a bunch of money.
Kinda reminds me when BS ran the pre-order for a supposed premium metal/leather case. Priced at $120 iirc. I don’t think it ever took off.
Totally agree, I ordered the slate keyway the other day when I got the notification that it was back in stock, plus I had a 35% off. I probably would have ordered the green too if I had seen it. I do like the lighter grey of the bull strap a little better but I don’t do open bottom cases and it’s definitely not worth 2x what I paid for the Keyway.
Exactly! Plus I personally find that my Keyway feels nicer in the hand that my Bullstrap. I also think its developing patina better too. More like the old Apple cases from before the 12 series. The Bullstraps patina too quickly for my liking. I think if Keyway made a small revision to the X logo they could increase their sales even more. Making the X flush with the leather and making the logo out of a different colour of leather instead of metal would be ideal.... for me at least.
Honestly in my opinion, the Keyway case looks nicer than the Bullstrap case. It’s just that little “X” on the bottom of the case that ruins the clean look.
Fit, finish and function on the Keyway are second to none. The metal X on the back doesn't bother me at all. I'm kinda geeked to get my recent green version order. Not that I really need another case, but the color (at lease on the website) looks great. Plus, the fact with holiday promo codes the price can't be beat for the quality.

I agree the Keyway is a fantastic case, and I do love mine. My only gripe, and its a small one at that, is the X sitting slightly above the leather. Would be better if it was flush. Its pretty minor really, I'm still able to use my magsafe wallet just fine. Its easily the best leather I've seen used on a case so far and the fit and finish of all the cutouts and buttons is indeed excellent. The reasonable pricing is just icing on the cake really.
I will agree that if they'd lower the X, or just make it a "cutout" in the leather surface that would be better. But, again it's okay as is. You're right, the price for these is truly icing on the cake. I'm sure the others out there are really nice too, but I opted for Keyway right out of the gate. No regrets, I'm not looking at others to procure either. Whiskey & Olive Keyway will suffice.
I've looked at the Slate one but haven't pulled the trigger on it. Honestly I'm obsessed with the Whiskey colour and probably will just order another Whiskey in a few months to have as a spare.
