After a trip to the Apple Store for something completely unrelated I am now running a 15PM. I popped off the Cretanbull to do the transfer and felt a little sadness since I had just started using and really loving it.
Out of boredom (the update to 17.2 took foreeeeever on Apple’s WiFi) I slapped it on the new phone and I’ll be damned if it didn’t fit and work almost perfectly.
The power and up volume buttons are a little tough to activate but the down volume is perfect. The action button is a touch off center but other than those tiny niggles it’s perfect. Really happy I don’t have to buy a new case!

You won’t be able to cope with the fact that case is made for a different model, is actually a slightly different shape and those buttons aren’t perfect.

Just browsing around for leather options, I’m flabbergasted. How the **** are two of the biggest providers (Bullstrap & ANDAR) still on pre-order this far out?
Order from Keyway or Ryan London if you want the Andar style case
RL also do the one identical to the bullstrap just without the logo on the back, and less colour options.Really like Bare Skin cases. It is as far as I can tell exactly like the Andar Aspen.
Andar said the preorder cases should ship out Dec 5-12 but haven’t heard anything yet.
I had a Ryan London in black last year but I’d really like a blue/green option like I currently have on my Cretanbull. Bullstrap has their Ocean and ANDAR the Navy. The navy Andar looks really nice. I was about to order an Andar but read another report about color bleeding on those cases.
Going to alternate the Nomad and caseless. I’ll be curious to see feedback on the new Ryan London with closed bottom. I would order the open bottom, but feel that would be worse on the pinky.
I think I’ve struck the ANDAR off my list. Just not a fan of their buttons; they look too small to me.
Nomads are nice but the cutouts in the bottom are pretty meh. I prefer the open bottom so it looks like Bullstrap is going to be the winner. Anyone know any discount codes?
I have the Nomad & I agree about the bottom cutouts. Lip is minimal so makes for easy swiping while still having protection with the TPU sides. Still, I prefer my Bullstrap and the open bottom is comfortable to me.

Worth noting the Andar navy is really dark, almost black - and it’s got a pretty heavy teal hue to it.
I’ve had both and the bare is quite a bit better than the andar. It’s lighter and a little thinner and I like the feel of the leather better on the bare. Also the bare has color matched buttons/camera ring and the andar has black. The only category the andar was better was leather smell.
If bare fixes the sharp buttons and gets their shipping times down they would be the best option for an apple leather case replacement imo.
Fully agree with you.. i tried many leather cases and have had most brands throughout the last 2 years. Bare is almost perfect but it seems they dont care about the sharp buttons. They asked me to send photos (which is hard to photograph) and then ghosted me.
I’m surprised. I had the opposite CS experience with Bare. They acknowledged the flaw and said they were working on new buttons and I would get sent one as soon as they are ready. They said a few weeks.
Try reaching out on Facebook, they reply pretty quick there. They said they are going to send me a new one with better buttons but not sure when.
