Just got the RL in saddle brown. Beautiful case and smell, but lacking a bit in the quality department - I just noticed some hot glue residue around the ring. Not sure if I should contact RL customer service considering how far this case traveled to get to me lol

Anyone else with the RL have something similar?

Those RL buttons sure do look nice. They look wider and smoother than the Bare buttons.
If I wasn’t already using the Bare I would definitely go with RL.

Guys what do you clean your leather case with? I am ordering a Ryan London case and I have never used leather before.

i use chamberlain's leather milk, a $15 bottle will last years

I have always had nothing but issues with their cases which is why I won't even consider them an option. Good luck on resolving it. Might take a month to return it : )

Yeah, it’s a shame. I got in touch with RL and they’ll be sending over a replacement. It’s disappointing because I was super excited to try the brand after reading all the praise. At this point, I think I’ll stick with Andar.

I am not trying to be annoying but this RL is the best leather case I have ever owned...and I have owned all the major ones we talk about. I am happy they are sending a replacement. They have been responsive and great to deal with for me. I also don't have any glue issues.

I actually forgotten I'd ordered this one...

Nomad Horween leather case to replace the Amazon fake/used/whatever it was that arrived...

This one is much nicer, feels better, no sharp edges or joins between the leather and sides, buttons feel good and it smells great as well.

However, it's going back... Don't need it or like it as much as my Ryan London cases or Keyway cases! 😂

they're replacing the mistake and you're done with them? what happens if andar makes a small mistake? lmao

The case is eerily similar to Andar’s case. The higher price, international shipping time, etc. also all play a factor. Again - it’s a great case, but first impressions do matter and this was disappointing. I might have been a little harsh saying “never again”, but the first impression of my RL was not positive.

Are the ones with the Bare Leather Case happy? I preordered the midnight blue one and have high hopes that it will be a good one.
I like my Andar and it may be the one of the Best leather cases but I don`t like the greenish look. I am back with my Navy decoded and quite happy with it.
