well that’s how they justify their gaudy x with the marketing. something about X marking the spot of the next destination. they could’ve just said they wanted their logo on the cases like everyone else but they had to be pretentious 😂

I actually had a problem with my first Keyway getting bumps around the X. I think it was the leather conditioner got in around the X. Their customer service was great and sent me a new case for free but I told them I really think they should get rid of the X on the back because it interferes with some MagSafe accessories and the case would look a lot cleaner without it. If they really want to keep it then at least engrave it on the side or something. They didn’t redesign the case so I guess I’m not that important 😞

I had suggested to them that instead of a metal X do the X in a black leather so it will lay flush, but they can still retain the look they are going for.

I think they may look at making the change next year, but I guess by admitting it’s a design flaw they’ll have to potentially issue many more free cases. But who knows?!
My replacement whiskey has so far been great and is ageing nicely!

Quick update of my previous order with Bullstrap. Turns out the delivery was delayed with 5 days to the reshipper.
And now I have received my Bullstrap Slate MagSafe Wallet and my friend’s Slate case.
This time I am disappointed. First thing is Bullstrap never replied my enquiry email regarding the above situation (10 days from now). Although the issuse is solved.
Second thing is the Wallet is REALLY REALLY THICK. Its almost as thick as Apple’s MagSafe Battery Pack and almost twice as Apple’s MagSafe Wallet. My thumb is kind of hard to stuck in to slide out the card from the wallet. And it also comes with scratches: top left and right side. And the MagSafe magnet at the back is way too obvious. Never seen anything like that. Not even Bullstrap’s own case.

But the Phone case is a good as it can be.

Holy **** I never knew they were as big as the Apple battery pack. Damnnnn

They are just fooling people. Mine was supposed to be shipped between Dec 5-12. They created a shipping label on the 12th. But has not shipped the item yet. Just to stop me from asking when will my case ship.

Funnily enough I had dropped them a full and frank email this evening exactly on this scenario. I hope it’s not the case as honesty is everything with me and I’ve had excellent communication thus far. Yep and they could make it virtually zero waste because the brown leather they have to cut out for the x could be used to make the x for the black cases.

Think I'm gonna return.

My YMW nappa is softer in the hand and the back edges of the case are slighty more curved so feels nice to holder. The buttons are also more clicky on the YMW.

If it was grey, blue or green I could be tempted to keep.

The RL is a very, very nice case though. The closest offering to Apple's I'd say.

No matter what case I seem to try, I keep going back to the the YMW nappa.

I need to to stop ordering cases.

The YMW nappa case really is fantastic!

Yeah 35 seems a little high. Mine is 33.1. I know with leather there is variation from case to case.

So strange, mine continues to move fast, the case is already in Italy (still scheduled for a Monday delivery though, because of the weekend I suppose).

Bandwerk classic came in today. Love the leather feel on it. Can’t wait to see how it patinas. Also got the andar earlier this week. The shade of red is perfect. Also looking forward to the patina.
