That bandwerk looks so interesting. How do you like it?

Only been on my phone for an hour, need a little more time for full thoughts but so far I really like how it feels in the hand. Not sure what kind of leather they use but it’s top notch. Only thing I don’t like which I knew beforehand was how much wider it makes the phone, but that’s the nature of these types of cases ya know. Luckily I have decent sized hands but anyone with small hands would hate it

Do you have a reg Pro or Pro Max? I have the reg Pro 6.1” and the grippiness of my Bullstrap is enough that I don’t use my pinky. I do have fairly clammy hands though so surely that factors in the grip to leather. Maybe yours will develop more grip as it breaks in.

I’ve never had discomfort on my little finger from using an open bottom case. I struggle to see how it would be an issue but definitely not the first I’ve heard of it.

The strip of leather across the bottom rests perfectly on the middle of my finger (between the first and second joints) and is just as comfortable as the closed bottom of the Apple leather case.

Do you have a MagSafe wallet? If so hook your pinky under the wallet instead.

Bandwerk classic came in today. Love the leather feel on it. Can’t wait to see how it patinas. Also got the andar earlier this week. The shade of red is perfect. Also looking forward to the patina.

Case looks great.

Yeesh. Anyway you can adjust the phone so it’s the fingers on the back supporting most of the weight? I’m doing that now and there’s no weight on my finger whatsoever.

Yeah if I lean the phone back and rest it on my fingers more instead of my pinky it’s not as bad. I don’t know if I can get used to holding my phone like this but I’ll give it a shot

Which one you prefer? Metal camera bump vs the leather one.

Probably the metal camera surround, although both are nice for different reasons.
The Keyway has a softer leather now it’s worn a little, where as the RL has barely been used.

I must say I am disappointed that my Nomad Rugged USB C cable does not fit with the case so I have to use the USB C cable that came with the iPhone.

I didn’t like open bottom cases at first either and had an indention in my pinky like yours. I ended up getting used to it. I angled my pinky to be more parallel with the phone getting it off of my pinky just slightly. If it ended up hurting I’d switch hands and/or completely remove my pinky for a bit. Good luck!

I guess I'm used to years of using open-bottom cases, so I actually prefer Bullstrap's design. It feels more natural to me. Every closed-bottom case I've used in the past few years has had a cutout around the charging port that feels uncomfortably sharp on my finger.

I also like not feeling the lip every time I swipe up from the bottom.

I just received my Ryan London case and I like it but I find the buttons a bit stiff.
Wondering if I have a defective case...
For those who have the RL case, are your buttons any good?

The one I returned didn’t have nice clicky buttons but didn’t have stiff buttons. Somewhere in between

Basically how my finger ends up, annoyingly.

I’ve got quite small hands so I think that’s what. If the lips of the phone sat on the two middle knuckles as it were, I don’t think it’d be an issue but they kinda sit between them and dig in.

I think BS cases are overpriced but man if they released a closed bottom version, I don’t think I could resist this colour!
