Anyone have recommendations for grippy / tacky leather cases? Want something that feels super sticky in the hands since I have super dry hands lol. Bullstrap / Andar are way too slippery for me after using them for months

Andar Togo case in black, Torro leather case in black if in the UK and want near on identical case but cheaper. Grippy texture and won’t show the wear like other colours do as textured leather doesn’t lend itself too well to nice patina.

So happy with the patina. Got a little nick 2 weeks ago on the top left corner which only annoyed me during the first hour after the incident occurred. Now I think it adds even more character to the case.

Looks great!
I also have a vachetta case (minerva box from badalassi carlo). I have never used magsafe on this. At first i thought it was magnetic dust, maybe from work. Now im thinking the magnetic ring has heated up, possibly by laying face down a lot in sunshine. I know vachetta is a very soft veg tan full grain leather and easy to stain and patina. No sign of ring marks forming on yours? It should be similarly soft when it’s from conceria 800.

Got the Bullstrap contemporary in today, while it feels amazing, the QC issues on the fit and finish are tough. Got some bowing near the buttons and a wildly uneven lip around the phone that peaks in the middles and tapers to nearly nothing in the corners. Hoping I’ll have luck with a replacement.

Mine is exactly like that. Hate it. Filed a warranty claim and got the open bottom one in exchange, MUCH better.

Anyone have the terra case with a black iPhone? Can you show pics of the back in good lighting? Thank you!

What puzzles me is how Bullstrap continue to sell the closed bottom case knowing it has issues, and having publicly said they're improving the design and finish of the case... basically admitting their faulty from factory.

BS responded to my email about quality with a line about ‘variations’ from case to case. I went ahead and asked them to replace it with an open bottom version as I expect this is going to be a headache otherwise.

Same here. Happens to my 50 cents case from Temu.

Had the same issues, so I ordered a replacement and was sent yet another case with the same issue. The closed bottoms QC/QA are horrible. I think you’ll find yourself better off just returning for your money back or switch to the open bottom case. I wonder if the lack of QC/QA was done deliberately by Bullstrap. Seems very much out of their character to have this be a continued issue.

My Terra bullstrap case just arrived…

Really nice! This is what the bourbon colour should have been IMO.

New packaging is much nicer as well, a lot higher quality.

Bullstrap Terra on my natural titanium 15 Pro...

The best thing, for me, about this case is where as most patina and wear on the edges resulting in a darker patina - the terra sort of works in reverse, as it wears the edges go lighter showing an almost dark Sienna shade underneath!

I have always really loved the Bullstrap cases over the years, but they really need to figure out a better solution for the camera bump moving forward. Using a metal surround would look way better imo.

Same. I tend to gravitate towards Bullstrap, Satchel & Page, etc; precisely because the don’t have a metal camera housing which to me makes a leather case look cheap instantly.

Nothing wrong with Bullstrap. Just buy a Ryan London, Andar or Bare case if you want a metal camera ring
