Apple Pumpkin case / iphone 13 pro

Leather back from Nomad, I hate the way cases feel on the sides when I’m doing things like swiping from the side to go back. It attaches via MagSafe and a few suction areas to keep it in place, makes my phone feel a little chunky but I’ve gotten used to it.

Wish Amazon UK had these so I could try

Anyone have a recommendation for an open bottom case leather that works with in-vehicle Qi wireless chargers on the 15PM? Both my Model Y and my mom’s RAV4 refuse to charge my phone reliably with my beloved Bullstrap case installed but work just fine with the Apple Silicon or bare phone.

I have the same issue in my 20204 VW. I think car Qi chargers are just weak. I've tried about 5 cases and 3 different iphones and none of them really work. Even naked the phone charges super slow and gets really hot. I usually just use the USB C cord in the car. Its faster and keeps the phone cooler.

was just in an apple store getting my 14 pro max fixed, and looking for another case - apparently they don't make leather cases anymore because of environmental goals....... so looking for a better off brand one.

Andar & Bullstrap are the most popular case manufacturers for high quality, amongst numerous others within this thread.

I would argue the fine woven is actually worse for the environment. I would bet a fair number of them have been thrown out and are sitting in landfills across the globe. All Apple did was take some discarded junk plastic, recycle it into new junk and pull in a tidy profit in the process. I highly doubt fine woven will be a thing with the 16 series.

As for better off brand ones its the usual players. Andar, Bullstrap, Ryan London, Nomad, Keyway, Decoded. Stay away from Mujjo.

thanks to you both. I ordered a Bullstrap. I assume they mean they don't want to use Leather anymore so they won't upset vegans.

I’ve never found a case I like as much as the Apple leather. I know they became crappy leather but still, nothing I tried ever felt better for ease of use. The feel of them to me was perfect. So I gave up and went caseless lol. Well, until rotator cuff surgery a few weeks ago and I launched my phone onto concrete with my non dominant arm and shattered the back.

I ordered a clear spigen and a speck to use until my good arm is more usable in a few months. But I won’t drop the kind of cash trying to find a leather case when I know I’ll always wish it was Apple.

Yep mine was a freebie, cut it up to see, cheap flimsy, not worth $99AUD lol.
Worst case apple has ever had.

I wonder if they ditched production on their normal closed-bottom case due to quality control issues and are just going forward with this Nomad-style case.
