It looks like the Luckycoins have been very popular this year and the reviews are all positive so I'd be surprised if they didn't keep going and make cases for the 16 family too.

Very true, would be a very smart decision on their part. They could really take a nice hold on the leather market if they keep up their work. Undercutting both Bullstrap and Ryan London and offering pretty much just as good of a product, thats hard to beat.
Between the Ryan London open-bottom and LuckyCoin case, I really can't see myself spending $90 on another Bullstrap case. The peace of mind knowing that they offer free "lifetime" replacements is nice, though.
I do wonder about the "lifetime" replacement guarantee, considering the closed-bottom case is already marked as "final sale." Does that mean I can't get a replacement 12 months from now?

For $90 you could buy 3 Luckycoin cases and not have to worry about it.
I was wondering the exact same thing. I would kind of think we wouldn't get the life time because they won't make them anymore and won't have stock, but who knows.
Wow!!! I forgot just how amazing that X case was. That and the 11 series that followed. The only thing missing with the LC is the color matched buttons. I guess thats a bit too much to ask from a third party on the budget side.
I think the eye opening part of all this is that it is clear how much the markup is for these cases. They are bending us over. The BS of the world that is.
Yeah, the copper buttons on the OG case were pretty sweet. I also remembered how soft that case was!
I just got mine yesterday for the 14P. I really like it, especially for that discounted price. Very snug and I don’t see the little gap through the charger port. I have the black edition open bottom but prefer closed bottom.
I am looking forward to it. I couldn’t use the open bottom with the weight of the max it put too much pressure on my pinky resting at the bottom.

So I got this MagSafe wallet from Amazon by Caseolgy. Nothing crazy special, but thought it was pretty cool since it was an “Apple Wallet”. Anyways it vegan leather, and it actually feels really nice. Maybe Apple can do a material like this for their premium line.
Money, that is why they abandoned that aniline leather. Those x and 11 cases were special that is why I kept it even though I don’t have the phone anymore. lol

I picked up my old 13 mini with a Ryan London case on last night and was comparing it to my 15 Pro. I forgot how light it was and how minimal the camera bump was. There is plenty of leather for them to use. This whole thing about getting rid of leather for vegan leather is total bs. We are not going to stop slaughtering cattle so there will never be a lack of leather. Apple went woke with the finewoven case and it blew up in their face. Big surprise. 🙄 I will also call out all car makers, we don’t want vinyl, aka vegan leather, in our luxury cars. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

Day two in the Luckycoin. Obviously no patina yet ha ha. But the leather has started softening. It was a bit dry on delivery as others have said but after just two days it’s softening and feels fantastic. I can now understand why @JerryIII compares this to his old X case. The LC really does feel like that generation of Apple case. I always remember the Apple case not feeling great out the box but then improving with use. This is the same feeling with the LC. So far this is by far the best of the iPhone 15 cases I have tried. Wish I had started with this case instead of wasting money on all those other cases. I almost think selling them on Amazon hurts sales because most of the cases on Amazon are trash… people probably assume the same is true with this case. I guess it’s up to the patina proud community to spread the good word. Ha ha
Damnit, you are gonna make me buy a 15PM just to get this case because it's like the X Apple leather cases. My fear would be the 16 series cases would not be as good as these.
At this point you might as well wait for the 16 to see if you like it and what options are available. I think LC has had quite a bit of success this year with their 15 line up so changing the recipe is not likely in their cards. The old "if it ain't broke why fix it" should apply to them here.
I don’t see why LC wouldn’t make a 16 case. They seem to have it figured out.
