Leather Cases - Patina Proud Photos

I received a Lonli Edition, but that cutout is terrible. It’s going back.

I received a Rumwot (new player?). It seems decent, and the cutout seems okay. Will have to see how it is with the phone inside.

I have a Nomad Modern coming tomorrow. Not sure about this because I usually go with full leather. But for the 16PM camera button this year, I’m thinking the dual material might work better.

I haven’t looked too far back in the thread, but does anyone know what Bare is working on for the Skin series? I guess they didn’t want another fiasco like last year. But I would have thought they would at least have a coming soon page.

So Bullstrap put their old closed-bottom case on clearance and released a new one but they look exactly the same? Did they ever say what was different between the two?

The only thing I can think, did they maybe make the buttons like the ones on the minimalist case? Have the leather come up around them? Kind of looks like it in the picture.

I'm almost positive that side picture of the cases is of the open-bottom because there's no dune or maverick colors for the closed-bottom. that picture features both of those colors.

You are probably right. Maybe they changed nothing at all.

Apparently, they changed the camera bump to the old style to match that of the minimalist and they also revised the bottom ports but have yet to see a pic of it.

The customer service person had no clue what I was talking about so maybe no one knows lol.
 
Got tired of using a case again so decided to go back to the dbrand leather skin. I had bought a black one last year during their Black Friday sale and just now got around to use it. I think it looks a little better than the tan one. It’s a little darker than my midnight wallet but it doesn’t clash. I might switch back to my grey wallet.

Edit: added a pic of the tan I used for a couple months

I received the Modern NOMAD with Metal 16 PRO MAX in Rustic Brown with metal. Looks very high quality and the cutout looks good. Will have to wait for the phone to see how it will fit. But looks good and NOMAD products have been consistently great. (sorry - took pics in a hurry - but gives you an idea)

I received my Nomad Modern also. At first look I liked it. But I compared it to another case I have (Rumwot, never heard of them but thought I’d try). The Rumwot hole is larger and I think nicer. The Rumwot is “leather” all around not dual material like the Modern.

I have pics in the 16 case thread and I didn’t want to double post pics but I will if anyone wants.
 
I cross posted this in the case thread but thought I’d add the info here too I know Lonli aren’t the most popular but I think they aren’t too bad especially as a backup case.

I spoke with Lonli. They currently working on a button version.
My assumption is that they need the phones in-house in order to develop the cases.
With this confirmed (according to them) I assume most manufacturers will do the same.

Has anyone experience of the Bellroy leather cases? Are they any good? What’s the quality of leather like?
