I like both cases quite a lot. I think I used them about equally over the past year. I got the Andar first this year because they are more reasonably priced, and I think $90 for a Bullstrap plus shipping is hard to swallow, so I'll wait until black Friday or another sale to hopefully save $15-20. I think as they've aged I like the Andar leather a little more, as it just feels like a well seasoned pure high quality leather, while Bullstrap's leather is just feels a little too over-treated. Again, these are minor differences, and I really like the Bullstrap case (and it honestly feels a little nicer out of the box...the Andars feel a little too hard and smooth out of the box...but season in nicely once they absorb some oils from your hand.)
Both are quality cases, and it's nice that Bullstrap gives you a free replacement each year if you keep your phone for a long time.
I did decide to go big this year...really for the first time ever. I've owned 6.3" phones before (OnePlus 6, and Pixel 6 and Pixel 7), and have generally preferred small phones, but as phones are getting slightly larger, the small phones are already nearly a two handed device, and as I'm getting older, having a bigger screen feels like more of a nice thing to have, so I'm going to give it a run. I'm also excited for fewer typos with the keyboard.
