Anyone tried the Nomad Traditional Leather case? I have the silicone in Lake Green but I really miss the leather feel so was hoping that the cut out of the Nomad was big enough to give proper access to using the new camera control.
I believe someone tried one in the iPhone 16 case thread and said the cutout was terrible. Said they couldn't access the CC button at all without a ton of effort.

If you want a nice leather case, there are a lot better cases to choose from. Andar, Bullstrap, Luckycoin (at some point), Decoded, and Ryan London. All of those are superior.

Excellent. It’s very slim and light weight. And the camera control works flawlessly. Keen to see how the case will hold up in the next year.
Awesome! I will see how I like me BS today, and then when the Decoded ships and see if this might be my backup dark leather case. The green color looks pretty solid too.

I think that was the Nomad Modern Leather case, not the Traditional which I'm asking about. The Morden Leather case has a tiny cut out in the frame of the case, and not a big one as in the Traditional Leather Case. The Nomad Traditional Leather case has a similar cut out to the Andar leather cases.

The only leather cases I can get at a store locally right now are from Decoded or Nomad, and as not to wait for international shipping I would prefer local pick up. The Decoded leather case cut out seems to be one that won't work perfectly with the camera control, while the Nomad seems like it might do.

Oh my mistake, maybe the poster put the wrong case name because the Nomad lineup has gotten rather confusing.

If you look back in this thread, you will see that there are some that have liked Nomad's leather alright in the past, but it certainly didn't age like BS or RL. If thats not a huge deal to you, I think Nomad make a decent all around case.

Yeah, it's easy to get the Nomad cases mixed up with the similar names. :)

For the 15 Pro Max I have two Decoded leather cases, one Andar Aspen and the Nomad Modern leather case. The last 5ish months I just kept going back to using the Nomad case as it had the best fit and really has been good at withstanding the daily wear and tear. I think the leather has aged fine compared to the Decoded and Andar.

I would have loved the Andar more if it had the action button and not a cut out, I bought it on launch day and since the shipping is very expensive to my country in Europe I never bought an updated case with the 50% discount option.

I'm gonna go look at the Traditional leather case later today and if the camera control cut out seems decent I might just pick it up and rotate it with the silicone case going forward.

Sounds like a plan, what color leather are looking to get?

It's ok not the best not the worst, personally I won't be using it that much so idc...but the case itself feels good in hand and the buttons are clicky...
It does look a lot like the Apple leather cases. Not bad, but I am starting to enjoy the CC button so this would keep me from trying this one.

After using it all weekend, I’m really liking the Rumwot. I always do black so I’m not picky about color. I just hope it starts absorbing oils and becomes more grippy. Right now it’s still very smooth. Regardless, this is staying on until a case comes out with a real covered button. I’m surprised nobody else has mentioned it.

Not sure if this is really an acceptable contribution to this thread, but it's my contribution all the same 😅. After years of Apple leather cases (that I felt have really waned in quality over the years), I decided to go with an Otterbox Symmetry... Cactus Leather case for my new 16 Pro Max.

It feels slightly tougher than traditional animal leather, and the green color I chose isn't 100% to my taste - I prefer more of a darker green. But I do think that this could be an acceptable alternative to traditional leather for those inclined to give it a try like I was.

As for the case itself, it's a pretty tight fit and the camera cutout is taking some getting used to. Its also not as thin as the Apple leather case I was using before, but my understanding is that there isn't any other on the market that even comes close to Apple's thinness.

I think I'll be keeping it, at least for the time being. Curious to see how it wears.

Thank you for the contribution! I was actually very curious about this case. It looks like a solid choice for not being leather.

Has anyone received their BullStrap yet? Curious how easy it is to use the camera button with the tapered cutout.

I have the Ocean color ordered, which should hopefully arrive later this week.

For those using the Andar case with the 16 line, does it feel pretty much the same as last year, just with a new cutout?

I sure as hell hope the USPS doesn't screw me for the millionth time. BS suppose to be delivered today, but well the typical from the postal service. Either it not updating (pretty common), or they just leave it at a sorting facility for days on end for no reason. Fedex is a close 2nd in horrible.

Gotta love USPS. Mine will be here tomorrow.
