Just bought a black decoded leather case. Hoping it’s thinner than the Bullstrap cases I bought for the 15 pro since the thickness was my primary gripe with them. Probably would have tried another Aspen if it wasn’t for the super ugly cutout implementation they did. Will post some pics once it arrives
No sorry, mine always take longer to patina as I wash my hands far too much. lol
I don’t and their leather cases are so much better than almost anything out there that most people use. Their prices just go along with that though, so most people won’t buy them.
A little dry at first, with stiff buttons.
But it is softening up very well, and I used a trick I read a few days ago on here about breaking in the buttons, so I'm really liking it now.
The leather smell and feel are excellent.
This will remain on my phone, at least until the S&P arrives 😁
Bullstrap Black Edition, couldn’t be happier!
Just received my RL open bottom and I agree 💯 RL is FAR superior to Bullstrap IMO. The Leather looks and feels better, the case feels about half the size..so much less bulky. The fit is immaculate and the buttons are the best on any case I have owned. This is all subjective of course. For me this is my case until the 17 comes out. With that said, have about 4 leather cases I can part with if anyone is looking for 16PM bullstrap open bottom in sienna bourbon or dune 16PM also have a RL CLOSED BOTTOM in saddle brownHere they are are side by side.
Absolutely. Tried BS again this year but the difference in quality of the RL is immense.
The long awaited Luckycoin for the 16 series showed up in my Amazon today.
I didn't upgrade to a 16 so I won't be getting but hopefully its every bit as good as the one on my 15.
Interesting that the image shows it as an open bottom this year. I see they also now call it the "basic case" so I'm guessing they will be having an open bottom version and closed bottom version at some point.

Brand new Decoded case in blue next to my Nomad Horween in black. Leather feels good, though it does appear to be coated (leather conditioner did not soak in).
The only thing I don’t like about the case is the logo around the camera. It appears to be embedded in there, but I wonder if some solvent will get rid of the white lettering, making it less visible. Not sure if I want to try it just yet, though, asI only got the case a few hours ago.

I took the case off, and then just started working the power button in and out as many times as I could (and my patience would allow 🙃), just to get it loose enough I guess.
Really made the difference for my case, but I only had the issue with the power button, the rest of them were great and clicky already.
I tried, but couldn't find the original post from a few days ago that explained it, so OP if you see this, thank you, it worked like a charm! ❤️
Personally I think their cases were better when iPhones had fewer buttons. I had a Vaja case for my 1st Gen iPod Touch and that had no buttons on the side. Not even volume. The case was superb. The leather was top-notch, the best I’ve seen on any case. I still have the case (to nice to throw away) and it’s still in fantastic condition. Their cases are built to last.
Bummer the Saddle Brown is sold out right now. Guess I'll just get the black. I can't be waiting until the camera control button versions come out.
