Yup end of December at the earliest. I went with the open bottom instead as found the hard and sharp metal camera ring uncomfortable both in hand and pocket. Absolutely no regrets.
My husband has the closed bottom with the metal ring around the camera. I personally don’t care for that look. It doesn’t bother him. But idk if one day it’ll chip like some of the other brands that have a metal ring.
I definitely love Bullstrap as I’ve used them in the past and am counting down the days until my case ships
I would like to get open bottom Ryan London but they don’t seem to make it for the 16 Plus. My other choice is the Nomad magnetic leather back, but again no plans to make one for the 16 Plus. I love the phone but wish the case manufacturers would buck up their ideas.
That’s not a cut out, it’s a valley lol. But I actually prefer it over the leather cutout holes.
I prefer the "Valley" as opposed to a cutout. My RL open bottom has the cutout and it's awkward. Much prefer the whole thing to be open like Nomad and Andar. Of course button would be perfect. But if they do come out with a button I am glad they are taking their time to get it right.
I agree, The cutout (especially on leather cases) is pretty awkward. I think I'm gonna wait until someone releases a camera control button version.
I know it isn't a phone case, but I couldn't help but share this Leather Smart Cover patina pic from the Designed By Apple in California book. It's such a shame Apple doesn't make covers and cases like this anymore.
Luckycoin in tan and black just came in. Leather smell good on these. The black seems to have a more snug fit than the tan but both feel very good in hand. Buttons feel somewhat indented but has good clicks. Camera control cutouts are what’s to be expected from leather cases. Finger digging is required.
Tan compared with andar aspen. Luckycoin has a more reddish tint than the andar.

I’m very impressed with the quality on these and leather thickness and feel out of the box is on par with Ryan London. Overall these are great alternatives to the other brands and for the price it won’t disappoint. Sorry bullstrap.

How's the quality compared to andar? Was going to buy a bulls trap but they don't have a case with a camera Valley cutout
Nice photos. As someone who has been using LC as my daily driver since mid August I still love mine. Its aging nicely and feels so good in the hand. I still think its the best option out there and you can't beat the price.
Le Pelle’s are roughly 20% off right now which is pretty good for a case that isn’t crazy expensive to boot

I feel quality is on par with andar.
Leather I feel is a bit more fuller but a bit rough on LC, similar to RL. Andar feels more smooth, shinier and slightly thinner but there might be a thinner tpu beneath the leather on the andar. Inner lining is same and both have same leather smell.
Andar buttons are much more clickier than LC which feel like they’re just a bit more dipped or indented inwards. Andar buttons clicks are by far one of the best on any case period. Nice good snappy clicks.
Having said that, in my opinion I prefer LC over andar for a daily leather case. Everything is on par but LC price gives it the edge. Amazon has them for $23.19 prime exclusive deal. I think the tan is sold out for the 16PM. Tan is so nice in the light and turquoise is just beautiful.
Im not even looking at bullstrap anymore. With their delays and the insane price, they’re no longer relevant to me.

Thanks I'm in Australia so they all cost the same here basically. Might wait a bit till more Companies make the valley cut out instead
Totally Forgot that the Nomad Traditional exists. Does anyone have both the Nomand the Andar? They seem to be the only two big name brands with the camera cutout at the moment. If you have both, which did you like more?
Decided to get the new bullstrap contemporary slate for my 15pro. Unfortunately the top right corner is loose and the phone pops out easily in that corner. I really didn’t want to get another bullstrap because of how over priced they are even with the Black Friday sale but I couldn’t find a grey case I liked as much as the slate. Now I have to ship the case back and wait for them to send me another one.
The only difference between the original contemporary and new one is the buttons and camera ring are the same as the minimalist. Ive got some pics with my sienna contemporary showing the differences. The slate does have a different feel to the Sienna, it’s more of suede feeling. Not sure if I like that more or less but it is a great looking case.

My new contemporary case fits pretty well but I did notice there's some give to the sides. They pull away from the phone itself easier than my other leather cases. You can also press in on the case and see the side of the case move in closer towards the phone itself.

Asked this and got an answer on Instagram. No timing though.
3-4 stories after => no camera control version in 2024
I didn’t notice that on the one I had. It was just the one corner. You can see the gap in the top right corner where it’s not flush with the phone. I’ll report back when the replacement comes in

I was the one who asked if we can use one of our warranties for the upgraded case next year.. they said they’ll bridge the gap. It’ll be fine either way I’ll def pick them up
Next question will be whether or not they release a bourbon closed bottom for my husband.
