Thats BullStrap for ya. I've never had a case from them without fit issues, just my experience. Every single RL case I've owned over the years fit like a glove including the 2 I have this year. Not to mention their buttons are superior in my experience as far as clickly tactile.
I’m getting two closed bottom BS cases here in two weeks. On Reddit they look like a good enough fit?
Well it’s funny I almost ordered two more 16 pro max RL when the delays were so long but I can’t get past the metal camera ring. I just don’t like it. Open bottom is just a no go for me and my 14 year old son (we are the ones waiting for BS).
I do like my husbands case. Just not the ring around the camera.
It may be totally fine, but BS is well known for QC issues. The closed bottom seems to be the biggest problems they have.
My speculation is that the open bottom versions is the exact same shell as the RL and LC and any of the others that look the same. The closed bottom is more custom to BS and they just don’t have a big enough team for QC checks. Just a guess but it makes a lot of sense to me.

Well guess we will find out here in about two weeks when I get my two preordered BS cases- if they’re not up to snuff I’ll deal with it however I need to.. not 100% opposed to RL but I’d like to try BS first because, to me, I like the Bullstrap closed bottom better than the RL but just by a little bit (again metal camera ring is literally the only reason I didn’t pull the trigger on RL- my husbands case IS nice and fits really well).
I will say one thing- I’m getting tired of this Apple silicone. Normally I love Apple silicone cases but since I went with black silicone this year, due to apples release of horrendous colors, the black.. well it’s just not wearing well. And I’m ocd clean with my hands (just shy of wiping them down with alcohol before I handle my phone ocd). the black just doesn’t hold up well. My light colors of years past did a great job hiding wear (which I was REALLY disappointed they didn’t have a single light pink/light blue/white color). So either way I’m excited for my leather but I think BS will be ok (optimistically hoping). Last time I had one though I believe it was for my 12 pro max (I upgrade every two years so I didn’t have one for my 14 series due to the open bottom). I liked my Bullstrap back then just not the open aspect. So trying the closed this round!

WORST case I will order from RL. And find a way to love the metal camera ring. May wait for the CC button version that they told me would release by the end of December.

LuckyCoin is another great closed-bottom option without the metal ring should your Bullstrap have any issues.

These are my RL. The black is open bottom, and got the saddle brown closed bottom. I have used the closed bottom for more than 5 minutes. Just can’t beat open bottom RL.

For some reason, I can only find their closed-bottom 15 Pro version. I swore they also made a closed-bottom 16 Pro version too. This brand is really tough to beat for the price.

Yep saddle brown. I am gonna order that in the open bottom when they get them back in stock, or add the CC button.
Yeah they haven't had one for the 16 pro series. I wrote the seller and asked them about it and they said they are not planning on releasing one for the 16 series either. Bummer because I really like their case.

I hope you’re is awesome!! Tons of users have had great BS experiences. i love the concept of their contemporary case that you are getting. i just can’t do the closed bottom case.
