Do Ryan London cases ship from the UK and if so, is it expected that extra tariffs will be due upon delivery to the US?

So what are people getting the air going to do? Ive always gone with leather cases but I feel like adding 35 or 40 grams back to the weight defeats the purpose of buying the air. I saw that nomad is doing the leather back for it so I might go that route but I didn't love the feel of the leather back on my 15pro and stopped using it. I may just have to say goodbye to the days of rocking a leather case unless someone finds a way to make light/slim version.

I've used Speck cases for my last 2 iPhones (15PM and 13P) and was considering a leather case as I was a big fan of them back in the day. I used to love Bullstraps cases. Are they still recommended or have they been surpassed by other companies?
I still have a Bullstrap on my 15PM and highly recommend them. I’ve had two hassle-free replacements already.

I’ve had this one for a year and nine months and it still has that amazing smell and a hint of the ocean color still visible.

I think I will go with the iPhone Air, and was thinking the same. I’m concidering the magnetic back leather cover. Haven’t seen it irl, but it looks cool on images. If not, I think I will go with Andar.

Any open bottom cases for 17 Pro? I see many brands have gone closed but I’ve concluded that I hate the feel of swiping up with closed bottom leather cases. I’m caseless 90% of the time but like a case during active trips etc.

The black leather back looks pretty good. I don't really care for the look of the brown one with the black around the camera bump. The 2 issues I had with it was 1) it doesn't have the soft feel of a leather case, it feels more like leather wrapped cardboard. 2) despite only covering the back it was still 30 grams for the 15pro. My full coverage apple leather cases were only 27g. I thought it would be lighter considering there are no sides. I also had the dbrand leather skin for my 15 pro that felt pretty nice but it caused my magsafe wallet to fall off easier. I just need something to make the phone less slippery without adding much weight.

I emailed Ryan London about it yesterday. They should have them in November.

I also emailed Bullstrap to see if they expect to get an updated design for their camera island. They will not. Shame, because I’ve been using their cases for years.

So quiet around here… unlike ever before. What leather cases are you guys getting for the new iPhone 17? Personally, I’m going with the Nomad Traditional Leather this year. But unfortunately, the Horween version is out of stock. Does anyone know the difference between Horween and the regular one? Other than the $20 price difference, haha. If anyone has pictures of both, it would really help me decide whether to wait for Horween to come back in stock or not. I’m looking for a soft, smooth feel, with fine leather, not ‘pebble’

I ordered the Andar case. Sure it'll be thicker than without, but it'll still be thinner than my 16 Pro with a leather case on.

My Ryan London case arrived today, lovely quality and smell - always a good sign! Will post some pictures next Friday when I've got the phone.

Per comment above from another poster,

How does the thickness compare to apples cases? I’d be interested to see close up photos of it without the phone
About the same, they're not thick and bulky but are a touch thicker than the old Apple cases were but much higher quality than the last batch were before Apple discontinued them.

I believe they do ship from the UK, but sadly I've no idea about tariffs into the US - sorry.

I’d love another leather case but uncertain about a bulky possibly heavyish case on the Air. Ryan London or wait for Pitaka Sunset for the Air to appear on Amazon UK, decisions, decisions. Also I usually use a screen protector but many don’t seem to be available for the Air. Looking for 3D full screen coverage with no black border, preferably anti glare. I’ve a Spigen on my 16 Plus but it has always annoyed me not going right to the edge of the screen.

I've gotten the Ryan London cases the last 2 iPhones, not too happy about the closed bottom but I guess most people wanted that change.
Wow, just checked the prices, $77!!! I paid around $55 the last 2 years.
Time to find another brand.

Supposedly their customer service says an open bottom variant is available in November
