Patina nOtSoPrOuD.

Had this bullstrap case for most of 2025 and I hate how it aged. It mostly looks black but ugly black, there's little to no color left in this and it looks faded (Non Shiny) at some parts, doesn't look good at all. It's heavy and thick. This is the ocean color btw.

Not worth the price they are asking for plus I have had bad experience with their customer service. The ceo of this company is shady af and a liar to say the least. They promised initially that they will provide free replacement for non CC button version with CC version when it will be released but when it released, their ceo backtracked from his words and gave a 30% discount to buy it AGAIN! With a $50 International shipping plus taxes..

They released a new 17 Pro leather case which is so damn ugly and they are asking $100 for that POS 😂. It basically makes your 17 pro look like a 16 pro. Anyways, their PR is on full throttle, their instagram reels are like they have made some masterpiece or something lol.

This year I went with Andar Hunter Green and Black TW. That hunter green color looks amazing. I'm digging the black TW as well. Silver and black TW would look sweet like a stormtrooper iPhone.

I really wish it didn't have the black accents/buttons. Otherwise their forthcoming open variant would be my ideal.
I actually prefer the black buttons because after a few months of use the sides of the case turn pretty dark anyways and the black buttons become much less noticeable. The copper colored buttons tend to stand out against the darkened case sides which I don’t really like. But hey, that’s just my opinion.

Can anyone tell me the quality of NOMAD, compared to the others?

I thought I would be buying a Andar for my new iPhone Air, but then I saw this case from Nomad. I really like the open style, and then it still protects the phone from a drop. But I will not buy it, if it isn’t top quality.

I just got my Nomad Traditional Horween black leather case (see my pics in the pinned thread above). I’ve had Nomad Modern cases in the past and been happy with them. This is my first time trying their traditional case and it looks and feels pretty nice.

I wanted one, but it hasn’t been in stock for a few days :( Only the Classic Leather is available. Is there much of a difference between them?

So quiet around here… unlike ever before. What leather cases are you guys getting for the new iPhone 17? Personally, I’m going with the Nomad Traditional Leather this year. But unfortunately, the Horween version is out of stock. Does anyone know the difference between Horween and the regular one? Other than the $20 price difference, haha. If anyone has pictures of both, it would really help me decide whether to wait for Horween to come back in stock or not. I’m looking for a soft, smooth feel, with fine leather, not ‘pebble’
The Horween in my opinion is significantly better than the regular one. It’s soft and smooth and has a lovely smell. The regular one feels pretty dry and lacking in character imo. If you’re paying for a leather case you might as well get a nice one. I’ll send pictures of mine tomorrow morning. Got mine in today for the 17 Pro Max.

I’m assuming ‘port’ just means cutout especially since they don’t show a photo.
They have buttons. I reached out and asked via chat. They said they’ll be updating the pictures soon.

I bought the case so we’ll see how it looks. You can also use ‘case15’ to get 15% off which is nice. I’m not affiliated with them by the way.

Interesting... Surely the case manufactures who used a metal camera ring were privy to this info.
Well no. Apple doesn’t provide case info to third parties before announcement, other than rare partnerships like Otterbox and Belkin to have day one preorder options on the Apple Store. Most third party case companies don’t get anything insider from Apple and companies like Dbrand, Moment etc rely on leaks that Apple’s suppliers sell or release against their wishes.

Moment employee on Reddit again confirmed this year that case companies aren’t offered any chance at early specs. They are virtually all using credible leakers and stolen CADs to decide their designs, hence why so many case companies struggled on which way to gamble with Capture button designs at launch last year. And that’s also why Dbrand etc posted the iPhone cases and renders before announcement - they use leaks and aren’t at risk of any NDA issues. They don’t get offered NDAs from Apple to begin with.

Looking forward to seeing how it looks, how bulky/heavy it is. The text has been updated to read
Fully Wrapped in Leather. Now with a Dedicated Camera Control Button.

Thanks for following up. Ordering and giving them a shot. Had the Ryan London on my 16pro which I loved but really like the leather wrapped camera plateau on this one.

Yes the camera wrap is what attracted me. Downside is £15 delivery, and cost of return to US if necessary. I would like to see a comparison between tthis and RL.

How well do those camera control buttons on cases work? I'd rather get one with a button than a cutout, but if the cutout works more reliably, I'd lean toward getting that.

Plus, how do you think brown or tan leather will look with Cosmic Orange?
